After a few hours of sleeping, Nycole finally managed to get up and in the shower. It only took her about 45 minutes to make sure her body was squeaky clean. The bathroom was still steamy after Nycole got out of the shower. Luckily she was able to decide on what to wear while she was in the shower so she didn't have to waste any time. She made her way over to her closet and searched for her favorite t-shirt and some sweatpants. He did say to dress comfortable. But is this too comfortable? She questioned herself for a moment and then decided her outfit would be just fine. She got herself dressed and released her hair from her towel wrap. She then patted her hair a little to help it dry and grabbed her brush to comb through it. She made sure there were no tangles and allowed it to air dry the rest of the way. She then picked up her fully charged phone and looked at the time. 7:00 pm. I should probably start heading that way. She grabbed her purse and slipped her phone into her pocket. She grabbed that little slip of paper as well before leaving. She slipped on her socks and shoes and grabbed her apartment keys. She made her way out of her apartment and locked the door behind herself and started making her way back to Kakashi's DoJo. She allowed her mind to wander about what all she would be experiencing tonight.
It was already seven o'clock and Kakashi was scrambling to make everything perfect. Dinner was already done, it was just set to a low setting on the stove to stay warm. He rushed to his room and ransacked through his closet for something to wear. "Would sweatpants be too casual? I did tell her to dress comfortable...eh, what the hell." He started talking to himself while getting ready. He quickly changed his clothes and threw on his sweatpants and a baggy looking t-shirt. He then looked at himself in the mirror and saw himself in baggy clothes with his tight mask covering his mouth, nose, and eye. He sighed softly and thought about removing them for a moment. "She has already seen my face...I just don't want to risk anyone else seeing it." He said to himself before finally taking off his face mask. He made sure to keep the one over his eye on for now. "Someday...but not tonight." He said, looking at himself in the mirror again and smiling softly. "She's right. I do look pretty good." He said, chuckling to himself a little. He then sniffed the air and smelt something weird. He then lifted his arm and sniffed again and almost vomited at the smell. "Oh geez...I should probably take a quick shower. I didn't realize how much I was sweating today." He said before looking at the time. 7:15 pm. "Perfect." He quickly turned on his shower and stripped down before hoping in.
Nycole was very excited to see her masked man again. She was walking faster than she normally does because she was so excited. She then remembered Kakashi had said to be there at eight o'clock. She stopped for a moment and pulled out her phone. 7:30 pm. She was already over halfway to his place with thirty minutes before she had to be there. She sighed softly and slowed herself down. As she was making her way there, she passed by Mr. Udon's shop. She decided to pop in for just a moment to say hello. "Good evening, Mr. Udon." She said, coming over to sit at the counter. Mr. Udon turned his head to look at Nycole and smiled brightly. "Oh, good evening, Nycole. What brings you by this late at night?" He asked, stepping away from his pot to come stand in front of her. "Oh, nothing really. I just wanted to stop by and say hello since I didn't get to this morning." She said, smiling softly. "Ah, I see. And uh, where are you off to now this late?" Mr. Udon asked. "Oh, just visiting a friend. Nothing too exciting." She said, looking down at her hands on the table. She was picking at her cuticles.
Mr. Udon raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest. "Is it a boy?" He asked and Nycole's head snapped up, her eyes wide. "What? What makes you think that?" She asked, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks. Mr. Udon just chuckled a little. "Miss Jones, my dear child, you do not get all excited and nervous over simply meeting a friend. Now, tell me. Who is this lucky boy?" He asked, leaning against the counter now. Nycole opened her mouth to say something, and then closed it again. She picked at her cuticles again and looked down. "He's not a boy...he's a man. It's Mr. Hatake over at Raikiri DoJo..." She said, her voice starting to trail off towards the end. Mr. Udon went silent for a moment. His silence made Nycole look up at him and she saw his face go pale. "Nycole, you need to be careful around him. I...I can't tell you what you can and can't do, but...I can warn you. He's not the kind of person you should get super involved with. He's not the person that he seems either...it's not my place to tell you, but you need to ask him about his past." He warned, reaching over the counter and holding her hands. "I'm not trying to scare you, child, I just don't want to see you getting hurt." He explained. Nycole gave him a look of confusion and slowly pulled her hands away. "Mr. Udon, I appreciate the warning, but I do believe you have your perception of him all wrong." She said, standing up from her chair. "Mr. Hatake is not the person you think he is. He saved my life." She explained. Mr. Udon sighed softly and shook his head. "I will say he is very kind and chivalrous at first, but please just don't let him fool you. Please, Nycole, just be cautious." He said, hoping she would heed his words. Nycole just sighed softly and nodded to Mr. Udon. "Thank you, Mr. Udon. I promise I will be careful, but I can make my own judgement and decisions. I'll...I'll see you tomorrow morning." She said, making her way out the door. "Nycole, I know we don't see eye to eye right now, but just know my door is always open for you. Anytime day or night. Please remember that." Mr. Udon said, hoping she would listen to him. Nycole stopped for a moment and turned her head to look at him. She smiled softly and nodded to him. "Thank you, Mr. Udon. My parents would be very grateful to you for looking out for me." She said before ducking out the door and continuing her path to Kakashi's. The time was now 7:50 pm. Perfect timing.
