CHAPTER16

Khushi's Pov-:
I was in my assigned room . I was on the floor while each girl was sleeping peacefully on the bed . I decided to message Sidharth.

On chat-:
Khushi- Thanks for helping me in the forest.
Sidharth- How many favours do you owe me by now.
Khushi- None. You obviously helped me purely out of compassion and kindness.
Sidharth- After so many years and still don't know me Khushi.
Khushi- It's because I know you so well that I know that's what you were thinking Sid.
Sidharth- Sure. Even back then you'd always get yourself into trouble. It's crazy how you survived without me during middle school.
Khushi- It's not like you ever did anything to help me.
Sidharth- Right. How lonely were you without me?
Khushi- I was having the best time of my life.
Sidharth- You can't even lie through text Khushu. It must have been so boring without me.
Khushi- Sure I was so bored not being picked on for once.
Sidharth- I knew it.

There it was. That weird feeling again making its way up my chest. Since i was tired i immediately went to sleep not realising that Kiara saw me talking to Sidharth.

The next day-:
Chhavi- I can't believe we finally go on a field trip and then it's filled with mud and pigs.
Khushi- Could be worse.
Chhavi- How? Huh?
Khushi- I don't know I was just trying to stay positive.

Farmer- Here you can see a family of pigs playing in the mud.
Kiara- Oh look! We finally meet Khushi's parents!
Agastya- Ignore her Khushi. She's just trying to get under your skin.
Chhavi- Yeah and somebody should try to get under hers.
Agastya- Revenge isn't the solution.
Chhavi- Then what is? Kindness? Im sure that will with Kiara huh.

Farmer- Khushi would you please come to the front. Be so kind and help with this demonstration.
Khushi- Sure....

I was walking towards the Farmer when Kiara pushed me while i fell in the mud.
Kiara- Ooopsie!! Look you're reunited with your family!

I was angry and shouted loudly at her . Before I could say something Sidharth came and pushed Kiara too in the mud. Then he picked me up form the mud.
Sidharth- I'll get her to the cabin to change.
Farmer- Sure...

In cabin-:
Khushi- You didn't need to carry me!
Sidharth- Who knew what else would have happened? Maybe you would have attracted a wild bear or fell down a rabbit hole.
Khushi- Jerk.
Sidharth- Mud looks good on you Khushi.
I took some mud from my clothes and threw at him.
Khushi- You too sid.

He removed his shirt.
Khushi- W-w-what are you d-doing? Put your shirt back on!
Sidharth- Hey that's your fault. You had to throw mud at me. Don't you wanna change?
Khushi- I will when you leave the cabin!!
Sidharth- As if there's anything to look at.
Khushi- There's plenty to look at and you know that Sidharth.
Sidharth- Do I? I think you need to prove that to me Khushi.
Khushi- You wish Malhotra.
Sidharth- Are you tempting me?
Khushi- I'm just stating facts.

Sidharth walked towards me.
Sidharth- I like you like this. So feisty.
Khushi- I don't care about what you like Sidharth.
Sidharth- ouch. And I thought my opinion mattered to you so much.
Khushi- In your dreams. What was that?
Sidharth- Somebody locked the door.
Khushi- You can't be serious.
Sidharth- So.... How do we kill time Khushi?
Khushi- W-what d-do you mean?
Sidharth- It could take them hours to find us here. There's only so much you can do within hours in a remote and small cabin. Don't you agree?

He said while coming closer to me.
Khushi- Sidha-

I tried to voice out when he firmly put his hand around my waist and pulled me as close to his body as possible. And then kissed me. Just like that. I didn't have any good experience in kissing besides Sidharth. But his kisses didn't even leave any room to imagine what it would feel like to kiss anybody else. I didn't have the slightest urge to find out. Him kissing me was more than enough.

Slowly he removed my t-shirt . It made my heart flutter , stop my breath entirely while raising my pulse to an unhealthy number. And he intensified our kiss.
Sidharth- You feel nice...
Khushi- Thanks...

It was all I muttered back as he was still kissing me. His fingers traced down the back of my spine. Up and down. Slowly. His other hand found my stomach and lightly braced over it. My body started shivering.

Sidharth- Khushi...
He whispered into my ear. Shivers ran down my spine. And I realised just how carried away I had gotten. I stopped the kiss.

Sidharth- What.....?
Khushi- Why are we doing this Sidharth?
Sidharth- What do you mean?
Khushi- You know what I mean. This isn't us. You picking on me and me being angry at you is us. This doesn't make any sense. You don't make any sense.

Sidharth- I.....
