Khushi's POV

PLEASE GOD NOOO..!!!
I was sending silent prayers , wishing for this to be another one of my frequent nightmares .

But was i supposed to know how old sidharth looked like ?

Maybe my subconscious patched together an image on how i imagined him to look ?

Or .... Or ..? This wasn't even THE SIDHARTH..

Sidharth is a common name , he could be any sidharth. The feeling i had seconds ago was just playing tricks on me .

Teacher - MR Malhotra !! How many times do i need to tell you to not come in late .

Mr Malhotra ... DID I ALREADY TELL YOU SIDHARTH'S LAST NAME ? I didn't..
WELL NOW YOU KNOW .

There was no doubt . The boy next to me was my childhood bully . God i wished the ground would open and swallow me up .

He changed . Obviously khushi.

His hair was different, his jawline more sharp , his shoulders appeared to be a lot wider .

Sidharth in general looked a lot bigger than i last saw him .

He is good looking . Gotta admit that .

His eyes though remained the same . Sidharth never had the childish innocence gleaming in his eyes like everyone else did . He had always apperared more grown up like he wasn't one of us .

It had intimidated me a lot in the past . Everytime we made eye contact it was like he knew exactly how to hurt me . How to win against me without even trying .

Strangely it had always just been me . I was his only target . Everybody else in class adored him .

Like they do now .

Okay khushi you got this . Just avoid eye contact. Under no circumstances are you looking into his eyes!

He doesn't even know you're next to him , he only saw you from behind !

Teacher - Ms khushi COULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION??

Khushi -Shit !!

Teacher - EXCUSE ME ??

Khushi -Umm i mean...... two ??

Teacher - TWO ?? This is an english class and not a maths class !! Tell me the year the play was written in ?

Khushi - umm

Teacher - umm is not a valid answer Khushi

Khushi -Well i don't know the answer 🙂

Teacher - But you should know . This is last year's material . Sidharth you answer for her .

Sidharth - 1597 .

Teacher- correct ....

Another thing that didn't change . He was still as sharp as ever . Its impressive...
I just realised that he didn't make fun of me for not knowing the answer ...
Maybe he's different now . Maybe he finally grew up .

Teacher - Sidharth maybe you can help out Khushi with our course material .

Sidharth- Im sorry teacher but i don't like wasting my time educating stupid people .
