Khushi's pov-:
In cabin-:
Sidharth- I don't know what you want me to say.
Khushi- Why have I always been your target? WHY??!!
Sidharth- Why did you just leave?
Khushi- What? Do you mean yesterday? I-
Sidharth- Not yesterday Khushi. You just moved away without giving a single fuck to explain.
Khushi- I-

The lady farmer suddenly opened the door seeing sidharth shirtless and me only with my bra on.

Farmer- Oh my! How long have you two been locked in here?!

She coughed awkwardly seeing our condition.
Sidharth- Put your T-shirt on.
And he left.

At common room-:
There he was talking with his friends. I was about to go to him but-
Agastya- Khushi! Over here!!
I looked over at Agastya and Chhavi who were sitting at a table. I went over to them not looking at Sidharth anymore.
Agastya- Where have you been this whole time?
Khushi- Um. I couldn't find a new shirt at first so it took longer than expected.
Agastya- Oh okay.

Me and chhavi decided to go to the washroom.
Chhavi- Couldn't find a new shirt huh? Did it get lost in Sidharth's hands?
Khushi- Huh?!
Chhavi- C'mon it's plain obvious how involved you two are with each other. That's why Kiara felt the need to throw you in mud. And because she's scared that Sidharth won't take her to the mask ball.
Khushi- Mask ball?
Chhavi- Every year we have an end of semester party. This year will be a mask ball. And kiara would do anything to have Sidharth go with her. But now there's a threat.
Khushi- A threat?
Chhavi- You khushi You are the threat.
Khushi- That's bullshit. I'm not a threat.
Chhavi- Why did Sidharth take revenge for you then? Why did he carry you princess style away just for you two to mysteriously stay away for an hour? Why does he look at you like you're his favourite dessert?
Khushi- Okay now you're making shit up.
Chhavi- You can't get around the fact that both of your childhood besties are head over heels for you.
Khushi- That's not true! Agastya is just.... a friend. And Sidharth is a jerk who hates me.
Chhavi- And I'm cinderella's fairy.

Back at home-:
The field trip was over and i was back in my room not being able to sleep which happened more and more often. My sleep deprivation was slowly driving me insane. Too many thoughts kept circling around my brain. Too many thoughts and questions about him. I decided to text Sidharth.

On chat-:
Khushi- Why did you throw Kiara in the mud?
Sidharth- Huh?
Khushi - Answer my question.
Sidharth- I just felt like kicking her.
Khushi- Just like that?
Sidharth- Just like that.
Khushi- Why did you carry me to the cabin?
Sidharth- You looked too incapable to walk on your own.
Khushi- Sidharth!
Sidharth- What? I'm telling the truth.
Khushi- Why did you kiss me?
Sidharth- No reason.
Khushi- You just kiss people like that?
Sidharth- What does it matter?
Khushi- It matters to me. Tell me.

He went offline. You can't run away from me idiot. What you can do I can do too. I went down my window and climped up his window.

Sidharth- What the helll?!
He opened the window and let me inside.
Khushi- Oh my god this was terrifying! How did you do this so easily?!!
Sidharth- Are you dumb?! Don't climb up my window idiot!
Khushi- You did it too!
Sidharth- So? If I jump off a bridge? Are you gonna do it too?
Khushi- You didn't text me back.
Sidharth- And that means you'll just put yourself in danger like that?!! What do you want Khushi?
Khushi- Answers.
Sidharth- I don't have any so leave.

I started walking around his room.
Khushi- I think I heard something! Are your parents home?
Sidharth- No.
Khushi- Come to think of it.... I've never seen them since I moved back here.

Sidharth's eyes turned icier than ever.
Khushi- Where are they...?
Sidharth- I don't know where my dad is. He doesn't like being around me.
Khushi- And your mom?
Sidharth- My mom is dead.
Khushi- Dead...?! When di-
Sidharth- Right before you moved away. You left on the day of her funeral.
Khushi- Sidharth .... I didn't know she- I'm sorry.
Sidharth- It has nothing to do with you.

Still under the icy glossing I could see the hurt displayed in his eyes. The hurt over the loss of his mother. And hurt over something else. I moved towards him.
Khushi- I'm really sorry this happened.
Sidharth - You should leave now. I'm clearly not the person you want to spend your time with.
Khushi- What do you mean?
Sidharth- The love of your life is back in town. Shouldn't you be lying in bed dreaming about him? I'm sure he wouldn't like you being here with me.
Khushi- Who are you talking about?!
Sidharth- Puppy. Your crush.
Khushi- That's not true!
Sidharth- What? Are you two official now?
Khushi- Why so serious Sidharth? Does my relationship status mean so much to you?
Sidharth- Funny Khushi. It's just weird how you say he's not your crush anymore. That can only mean you're with him right now.
Khushi- Agastya is just my friend.
Sidharth- He wouldn't like to hear that.
Khushi- Why are you bringing him up huh?!
Sidharth- Because he wouldn't like you spending time with me. Or you being in my room in the middle of the night.
Khushi- It's none of his business how I spend my time.
Sidharth- Really? When you have such heart eyes for this weakling?
Khushi- I don't!
Sidharth- Then why do you spend so much time with him? Because you're such good friends?
Khushi- I'm not even spending so much time with him! What's wrong with you?!
Sidharth- I'm just stating the obvious Khushi.
