Me and another YouTube friends walked along the inside-skirts of Vidcon, we all are chatting about random things, while they bring up a party in the afternoon, I think for the YouTube long year celebration. I'm not sure if I'm going or not but I'll think about it. I've met my fans and had a interview, I'm all set but I'm wanting to visit booths to see new exciting things, sadly I don't see Meghan to join me, she's off somewhere doing her own thing.
Somehow, Tyler runs across following the ball pit as he laughs loudly, I follow and cough, Tyler Oakley is pretty funny. He's also a nice guy, but he has lots of fans that obsess with him, Meghan says the same with me, she's right though, they swarm me.
"Are you really swimming in a pit of balls?" Connor looked flushed from today, he probably was caught with busy fan-girls.
Tyler choked, "Plastic Balls, then, yes." I looked away following Justine so we can do our next step of the journey, as we walk away, we hear pacing behind us, Tyler and Connor catch up immediately as I see Shane walking with a woman, he had a microphone in his hand, he was busy doing a interview. They drain the fun out of you, although, they can be fun, they don't let you go until you are done.
We've made it outside as I notice Meghan and David talking at one of the picnic tables, It was surrounded by beautiful flowers also weeds, the leaves from the tree's fell on everything making it magical.
"Hi Joey," Meghan smiled as I sat down in front of them, the others went on their own journey, maybe to prepare themselves for this party they are having, "It's hot outside; did you bring any water with you?" David laughs before gazing at his watch on his wrist.
"I only had a cup of water from the dispenser, I'll be fine." We both look at each other, I'm being honest to her.
David involves himself, "Well–we should head back, the people are going to run out those doors then we are screwed." He's right, I don't want to be swamped with millions of people, at-least not right now, I'm not prepared. It's to hot and humid outside, I can't take hundreds around me all at once, asking for an autograph and taking pictures.
We immediately got up and walked off, Meghan stayed close to me also David following behind. I notice Stacy on the phone in the parking lot, she was smiling to herself but laughing at the same-time, I hope she's doing okay, she seems outside more, I'll talk to her when I can, but I don't want to interrupt her call.
"Why don't we go somewhere to eat?" Asked David while Meghan walked to her car, got in as we did the same.
"Where though?" I ask.
She yelled, "Let's go to Olivetta!"
"Sounds like a perfect plan." David said with ease.
𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞, when my hand gets stopped. I'm stuck outside the restaurant waiting for Meghan and David to come out after paying, and a random fan screamed towards me, which startled me for the most part. Several photos, flash on and screaming and telling me about her and how much she's watched my videos, I'm grateful but that really got on my nerves, also a man was with her, and he weirdly touched my hand. I'm not sure what he was trying to do. I'm leaning against the car trying to clear my thoughts when I see Meghan holding her purse close to her, speaking to David quietly.
"There's a party happening tonight, are you guys going?" David asked as me and Meghan looked at one another, oh that YouTube party event they are having later, I'm not sure I'm a big party person, crowds scare me.
"Probably no—"
"Yes, me and Joey are going." Meghan answered cutting me off. I glare at her making David smirk as we get back in the vehicle.
My head turned facing the window as I see other buildings flashing and lights cursed down, now I have to go to a party? Sounds delightful. .
This party will be heated quickly, this weather is killing me, the Summer takes forever to end and I'm excited for it to cool down. Trying to work out or anything is harder since I'm sweating triple now, which I haven't for a while but few weeks ago I did, that made my shoulders sore also legs. I didn't want to get up the next day because of that.
"Will this be worth it?" I ask seeing Meghan look back at me, her face softening.
"Joey no need to be so quiet now, you'll be fine! It's totally worth it to actually have fun, not work." She rubs my shoulder trying to help my anxiety.
I just nod agreeing with her but I try focusing outside than this party.
