Owen had been unusually quiet on the drive home from Morgan and Liam's, and Julian could tell something was bothering him.

"Owen, was that weird for you? Going to see my friends?" Julian asked.

"No, but seeing your ex was weird," Owen admitted.

"Why? Ethan likes you a lot."

"Yeah, and he likes you a lot too..." Owen bit his lip.

Julian laughed. "This is about Ethan kissing my head, isn't it?"

Owen shot him a sharp look. "Uh, yeah. It is about Ethan kissing your head. And hugging you!"

Julian chuckled again. "Will you relax?"

"No, I will not relax." Owen crossed his arms, still frowning.

Julian could hear Owen muttering something, though he didn't catch it.

"What's up? What'd you say?"

"I said-everyone is always trying to get into my boyfriend's pants. I'm sick of it."

Julian laughed. "It's true, Julian! Stop making fun of me, I'm pissed! Obviously!"

"Hey... I want to take you somewhere."

"I'm not going anywhere with you, Julian Moore from next door. Because I'm pissed off at you."

Julian looked over at Owen with nothing but affection and adoration. He could see that Owen wasn't fully understanding him right now, which made him feel a bit frustrated.

"I'm mad at you, Julian..."

"Yeah, I get that. You can be mad... It's all good. You don't have anything to worry about, though. You're-"

Julian hesitated, realizing that what he was about to say was too casual for such a significant moment.

"I'm what, Julian?"

"Jealous."

Owen's mouth dropped open. "I'm not jealous..."

"Yeah, you are. I talked to Ethan. We patched things up. He's in love with Dave. I asked him if Dave was meant for him, and he said yes... And you know what, Owen?"

Owen's eyes were still hurt and his frown remained. "What?"

"You're meant for me, Owen." Julian reached over, took Owen's hand, and squeezed it as he smiled.

Owen's frown softened into a sorrowful expression. Julian laughed and watched as Owen wiped his eyes, then smacked Julian's shoulder before covering his face with kisses.

"Alright, alright..." Julian teased, reaching over to squeeze Owen's thigh and give him a suggestive look.

Owen blushed, sitting back into the passenger seat, his smile unwavering. Julian blew him a kiss, still grinning. Owen tried to hide his smile but failed. Julian loved how Owen blushed, especially in his old high school hoodie that Ethan had noticed and swooned over.

"Where are we going?" Owen asked.

"...A place."

Owen gave him a deadpan look. Julian laughed before Owen's smile returned.

"Dude, come on..." Owen smirked.

"Okay, okay..." Julian reached over to tickle Owen, who slapped his hands away in defense. Julian affectionately pulled on Owen's ear, making him blush even more.

"So... Your mom is still busy hanging out with mine, and I actually told them we were spending two nights at Morgan and Liam's..."

"...Wait, what?"
