"Welcome to 10 o'clock new Tokyo. In today's news, we have received word that after twenty-seven days since her disappearance, Hashibira Kotoha has been found, alive. Not much is known about her condition but she has been moved back to Tokyo from the Tohoku region."

Douma hums for a moment, watching the news before shuffling onto the train. He had lost track of where his songbird had gone but it seems that she is safe.

He'll be back with her soon enough.

Kotoha had been in the hospital for a full day now, word having not been broken till she arrived. She was dehydrated and was hooked up to an IV. The police had talked to her and she spoke truthfully because why would she lie about her experience?

"Would you say you were held against your will?" Kotoha shakes her head.

"No, the one who ran the shrine had warned me that traveling to town was dangerous.' She lifts her leg where a doctor had checked it and gave her a list of exercises to do. ' I twisted my ankle and -"

She pauses, the officer taking note. She was debating on telling them about Yoshito. She shakes her head. They already knew of the fire that had been spotted in town that morning, she rather let them think Yoshito died with others instead of the cold river.

"I thought I wouldn't make it but someone saved me once more." She would continue her story, making some lies and not making note of facts like she had relations with Douma.

The people she was dreading most to come to her were the ones she was hoping not to see till much later.

A phone was on, streaming to close to a million people, a fake look of concern stretched onto both her Idol mates' faces.

"Kotoha-chan! We were so worried." Riko, a girl with black hair and blue eyes was the one to bring the phone closer to her. Hanako was on the opposite side of the bed, hoping to get into the spot like as lead singer, her red eyes and crimson hair her calling card.

When it came to everything, it was always the red and blue, with merch, sponsors, and even fans. It was rarely ever green that people remember when it came to the Birds of Paradise group.

But since the stream is still going on, Kotoha gives in for them, throwing up a smile and a thumbs up.

"I should be fine in a few days and maybe we can do a show soon." When Riko sets the phone down, frowns appear on both her idol mates' faces.

"Can you do nothing right?" Hanako asks, rudely pushing her bag to the ground and out of her reach.

Kotoha wants to speak but luckily a savior comes.

"Oi, Oi, times up!" Hanako and Riko pout but a thumb pointing to the door has them leaving quickly.

Kotoha leans back into her pillow and smiles at the one who closes the door, holding a thing of flowers.

"Hakuji, Thank you so much!" Hakuji's blue eyes crinkle and he flashes a small smile.

"It's nothing, you know Koyuki and I are always willing to help you with those bitches." Kotoha couldn't help but laugh.

Hakuji and Koyuki had been her first true fans and have been friends since highschool. They only separated when her idol career made her too busy to hang out as often as she liked.

But when she disappeared from public, Koyuki and Hakuji were the ones to take care of her apartment.

"So how are you feeling today?" Hakuji picks up her songbook and she goes to speak when a knock is heard and a doctor comes in.

"Hashibira-san your test results came in." The doctor looks to Hakuji before looking to Kotoha. Kotoha nods for her to continue.

Kotoha watches as the doctor's brow furrowed before she spoke.

"Hashibira-san, it looks like you are in the early stages of pregnancy."

All was silent for a moment, Hakuji would break It by dropping her songbook on the floor. The slap of the book falling was enough for Kotoha to snap out of it.
"Pregnancy?" It was something she and Douma hadn't tried as hard to prevent and yet hearing the result was still a shock. She had hope it wouldn't come but the world continues to be cruel to her.

Words were muted as the doctor confirms and congratulates her before leaving.

Hakuji would slowly turn to her, watching as she starts to shake, holding herself and curling up to cry. Her friend would hug her as she cried.

No, she may have been startled by this but she was devastated by the fact Douma wasn't here with her.

Hakuji knew one thing.

If he sees this bastard, he's going to punch him till he was bloody for doing this to his best friend. He sighs through his nose, letting Kotoha cry into his shoulder.

At least from his knowledge, it wasn't the other bastard in Kotoha's life. A living hell that had been banned from smaller concerts and never allowed to meet with her.

Shinobu is frustrated and angry at herself for not killing the demon lord.

Hell, they still didn't know his name.

She wasn't expecting him to be so powerful but what did the slayers expect from a demon who has lived for centuries?

But no, the most alarming fact was he let a human live. Many in fact but from what was known of the demon from the past, he was known as a woman eater.

Why would he let Hashibira Kotoha live?

The wind whips around him as he steps off the train.

He once again wore a disguise, not wanting to be spotted till he was back with his songbird.

Douma wanted to make his debut in this modern era as Kotoha's lover. Oh, the chaos would be delicious to see.

Colorful eyes change to blue as he hides behind sunglasses, a grin coming to his face.

Let the slayers try to kill the demon lord when he is in the public's eye.

WERE YOU EXPECTING AKAZA/HAKUJI TO BE HERE? What do you think will happen when Douma finds him also reincarnated? Who else do you think will make an appearance?

Also, KOTOHA IS EXPECTING! LET'S GET ON THAT HYPE TRAIN!

Gosh, I hope nothing happens.
