Isabella's pov.

The days have been long and boring but I didn't want to get involved with the scooby gangs drama. Instead I've been focusing on the ghost I've caught ever since New Orleans. His name is Henrik and I've only been able to see him when I'm having a severe attack or I'm under too much pressure.

Every time he would appear he would always calm me down in a way I myself could never. We haven't known each other long but he's been kind enough to help me get through these awful attacks I get without my dosage of antidote.

He's taken care of me and I appreciate it so much I don't know him but in the amount of time we've spent together he has been an angel sent from heaven. He handles me so gently and soft with such care it makes my heart melt.

The feelings that stir in my heart put so much pressure on me it's starting to get to my head. I've been trying to find spells that will show him to me without him appearing every time I'm stressed. I just need one more spell and it should work but I need to talk to a certain witch first.

It's been a couple of days since Stefan and I showed Caroline the ropes on feeding. My method was way better than Stefan's it would have saved us some time if we tried my method first but Stefan being the bore he is wanted Caroline to feed the right way.

The Salvatore's needed my help with killing Katherine and who am I to pass up the opportunity of killing Katherine? They informed me that Elena was at home and Bonnie was spelling a room to keep Katherine in.

Which is where I am currently driving to. I'm really late and I know they are both going to kill me for not being there already. I got too caught up in the spells I was looking for I lost track of time. I don't even know if they're still at the Lockwood's.

I speed into the driveway coming to a stop I jump out the car rushing to get inside but I stop in my track when I see a certain doppelganger that shouldn't be here.

As I approach her she hangs up on Jeremy. I groan annoyed that the house looks empty.

"Am I that late?" I ask her with a wince at the stupid question I just asked. She smiles with a nod.

"Yup you are very late" She replies stopping in front of me.

"Oh well it's not like I wanted to come anyways" I turned around not waiting for the sweet doe eyes girl to respond. I stopped when I remembered to ask Elena about her situation ship with the brothers.

"Oh Elena-" Something hard hits the back of my head making my body drop as my eyes shut my mind going blank.

My eyes snap open as I feel someone shaking my body. I see Elena's doe eyes looking back at me with relief. I sit up feeling the hard fabric of the couch I'm laying on. I look around to see we're in a dusty abandoned house.

"Where are we?" I ask Elena confused. She gently puts a finger to her lips indicating for me to keep quiet. I give her a nod and connect her mind with mine so we can communicate.

"What happened? Where are we?" I ask inside her mind scaring her as she looks to me with surprise.

"I don't know but the people who took us are vampires and they injected you with something but I don't know what." My brows furrow as she hands me an empty needle.

I look closely at the needle before taking a sniff. I cough as the strong fumes enter my lungs making me drop it as I cough trying to breathe in air. Elena stares at me in disbelief at my stupidity as I choke dramatically.

"Really?" She says in complete disbelief.

I finally gain control of my breath and look to her annoyed.
