Time was a bomb, sooner or later Y/n would lose her mind and snap Ken Sato's neck. "I told you I should've bought it." She seethed
"You can feel the electricity in the air. 42,000 fans here tonight..."
"I don't need your lecturing or brace, Y/n." Ken's fingers rubbed the tightening sensation, failing to alleviate the discomfort. The wince as he found a particularly tender spot alerted the woman. Her heels made an audible click as she stepped forward. "I'm fine." He initially barked, turning his head in her direction until the sight of her hand retracting back burdened him to repeat his words, this time in a gentler manner. "I'm fine, N/n."
"A capacity crowd waiting to get their first look at Ken Sato..."
Y/n hums, intently watching him seated on the pathetic swivel chair in the comfort of the darkness. A centimeter closer, she'd enter his circle of greatness, the realm of Ken Sato's glory. A world where Y/n could never belong.
"You should be in the box."
"I'm fine here, sir." She nodded. "Besides, I'm on Shimura's good side unlike you and I scored a seat with the Giants." That smirk of hers always screwed him over. "See you in a few."
As Y/n emerges from the depths of the locker room, her figure entraps the players' eyes, hypnotizing them into a vulnerable state. If she had a chance, she could swiftly consume them whole. "Miss. L/n." Coach Shimura beckoned her with a wave.
"Coach Shimura. Excited are we?" Her fox-like eyes gave him a slow, deliberate once-over.
"Thrilled." He said void of any enthusiasm. "The boys saved a seat." He pointed down the bench, near the rookie. She sauntered over to stand next to the man. Lucky bastard.
"Whoa! You're Kenji Sato's assistant." His young, passionate eyes were set ablaze with admiration. "Would you mind, a-and you don't have to, but would you... put in a good word for me?"
She arched her brow. "Sure, rookie."
"Anxious to see what he can bring to this Giants team."
"Oh, God." The man slowly muttered before turning to the stairs. "I can't believe it's my first game with Ken Sato—"
"That's worth a lot on eBay, rook." This, right here, is egotistical maniac Sato. He sharply flicked over to Y/n. "What? No good luck kiss."
"Coach could give you one." Her arms crossed watching as he trailed his way to Shimura. "Is it bad I hope this eats him in the ass?" Players turn their attention to her words, mouths gaping at her vulgarity.
