"There you are love" A familiar voice echoed, and my heart skipped a beat. Is it happening? Is this real or am I dreaming?

My body was shivering but somehow, I managed to stand up and was greeted with the most warming sight I could ever see.

"Davide" I whispered as couldn't believe what I was seeing Infront of me.

"Fuck, fuck- don't you move baby, I am coming to you" His shaky voice came when he took in my condition, and a lone tear escaped from my eyes.

Without wasting another second, he ran towards me and engulfed me in his arms.

And in his arms, I finally became alive again.

His arms were wrapped around me so tightly like he was scared that if he let me go, I would disappear.

I clutched his shirt for life and rested my head against his heart feeling his racing heartbeat.

This time I broke down and couldn't keep control on my tears. I cried hiding my face in his chest as we both sat on the grass.

He lifted me on his lap, and I hide my face in his neck crying my heart out. We both held each other so tight like we both are scared that if we let go, we will part away again.

"What took you so long?" I cried hitting his shoulder and I could feel him crying too. He clutched my hairs and buried his face in my neck.

I kept hitting his shoulder as my wails echoed in the whole forest. I eventually stopped hitting him and let it all flow.

My wails were even haunting me, but I didn't stop and let the world know my pain.

"I-I am sorry baby- I am so sorry" he broke the hug and kissed my tears all over my face. I finally looked at him and looked at his grey orbs I was yearning to look at. His tears weren't stopping like mine.

I held his face and joined our foreheads together as our cries weren't stopping. "I thought you will never find me" I cried and held his hand tightly in mine and kissed his whole hand.

"I am so sorry love; I am sorry I came late" he cried and held my face. I finally looked above to see Enzo, Emilio, so many people standing behind. They both were crying and me and Emilio made a eye contact, as he gave me a smile while in tears.

Davide's hands roamed all over my body as he looked for any injury and stopped on my stomach. I let out a yelp when his fingers brushed on my stitch, and he immediately moved his hand away.

Davide's jaw clenched and he closed his eyes, and when he finally opened, I found something different in his eyes something which I've never find in his eyes. Something dangerous.

"I swore on you Lucia, I will get that bastard on your knees and will make him pay for your every fucking tear" I hugged him and peeked a glance at Damien lying unconscious on the ground and shadow slowly coming towards us.

I broke the hug when he stopped just Infront of us and caressed my cheeks with his face. I felt something liquid and looked at shadow's face, tears were coming from his eyes as his gaze was on my burned skin.

Suddenly my throat and stomach burned, a tight knot formed in my stomach, and I gagged before vomiting on the grass, Davide rubbed my back continuously and both of our eyes widened when we looked that I vomited.
