friend request

i woke up the next day. my alarm began ringing to wake me up. i did my daily routine as usual, and in about 1 hour and 30 minutes, i was out the door.
after waiting at the bus stop, the bus arrived. sliding the coins into the slot and taking my seat, i begin to play music again through my headphones. "secret secret" by stray kids begins playing.
i was zoning out when i received a notification.
"yonglixx wants to be your friend!" my phone alerted. yonglix? i'm not sure who that could be.
i decided i would accept it later, and maybe after school. i met up with chaemoo before school, and walked to class together.
       "i developed leukemia.. i will not be here tomorrow. you guys have a free period for this class tomorrow.. see you soon, or whenever i recover," ms. billybobbiansusieann said. it seemed like every day ms. billybobbiansusieann was telling us a sob story.
       after school was over, which felt like forever even though i slept through most of school, i took the bus home again after changing my shoes. i walked with my friends this time, since they didn't have detention anymore.
       "guysss!!! tomorrow we receive new schedules!" sunju said, putting her arms around our shoulders.
i completely forgot about that. what if i don't get classes with any (blurry lines) of my friends? i get its a new semester, but is changing schedules necessary?
"i'm excited to meet new people, yet sad i probably won't get classes with yallㅠㅠ" changeun whined, drooping her head low.
my friends and i waited at the bus stop, as chaemoo's bus came first. she greeted us goodbye and followed up was changeun's bus. we did the same and sunju had walked home, as her home was a 10 minute walk from school. my bus was last, as both me and lee know got onto the bus.
      i sat down at my signature seat and placed my headphones on like normal.
"yah, i can hear your music. were you aware of that when you decided to listen to 'wolfgang?'" i suddenly heard to my right. it was lee know. is he insulting my taste in music?
"no, but if you wanna insult my music, i bet yours isn't any better," i reply back, noticing he had his headphones in as well.
"wow, what a sweetheart you are," he replied, smirking and looking away. oh my fuck. he's actually kinda handsome. what? no he's not.. what am i saying?
"mhm.. by the way, my name's y/n," i said. it'd be good to prepare myself before being forced to be his friend by my dad.
"cool, i'm lee know, or minho to my friends," he replied back.
"which one do you want me to call you?" i asked him, not breaking eye contact.
"i prefer you not talk to me at all," he answered, grinning and leaning back in his chair, folding his arms.
"yah! sit somewhere else then," i shot back. i'm not taking that shit from him!
"and sit where? on the floor?" he looked at me, genuinely confused
"mhm, where you belong," i looked back, jokingly answering.
"wow, okay princess," he replied, patting my head. oh my days. what is he doing to me right now.
the poker face is kept on remained calm, as my self control is hard to break. but seriously, princess? sweetheart? what is he doing to me.. NO! he's not doing anything and he's just being a creep! that's all!
"yah, we're here, let's go," lee know said, grabbing my arm and forcing me up.
i walked home, dropped my backpack down, got into my work uniform, and was back out the door.
suddenly, i had remembered the friend request i received this morning. while walking, i accepted the request. i figured texting without looking where i was going would result in my death, so i planned on texting them whenever a customer wasn't in the cafe.
first, i stopped by the convenience store and bought another sparking water. i gave him a couple coins, and walked out. going into the cafe, a worker was in today. my coworker/friend, kim maju was serving a customer. i sat down and went on my phone, considering my shift wasn't until another 15 minutes.

        felix is pretty handsome, but he's not really my type. i don't like the popular, friendly, outgoing type. not that they're bad and i'm totally against it, i just have a.. type..?

FELIX'S POINT OF VIEW

       i followed her, i didn't think she would accept it. she had over 20 million followers and only followed a couple people. chaemoo, changeun, sunju, maju, yoo billy, and.. lee chaeyang? she had been following two famous billionaires. one of them, being lee know's father. i didn't know they were friends. in fact, i didn't even know lee know had female friends. i guess it made sense. they both had similar personalities and were the two most popular in school.
       when she replied to my message multiple hours later, my heart skipped a beat. it felt as if i was getting recognized by a celebrity.
i didn't think much of her dry texts, as i didn't expect her to be energetic and close to me. i teased her a bit, but i felt my face redden up as soon as she called me handsome.
i received another text. she said, "i gtg get on my shift now, bye felix."
"okay! work well, earn lots! bye y/n!" i answered back. i'm sad our conversation got cut short, but at least she told me she was leaving. she wasn't as dry as i thought.

Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW

i continued working my shift for the next couple hours. i worked 4 hours that day since im a part timer, leading me to get home at 6:11 P.M.
on my way back home, i admired the neighborhood. it was a lively, friendly neighborhood with many activities. a swimming pool, golf court, basketball court, track field, you name it. the cafe and the convenience store were basically in the neighborhood as well. i lived in a relatively wealthy neighborhood.
before i reached my house. i looked at all the houses. lee know's house, matched his reputation. a large, white, and brown house that had a pretty healthy lawn. his dark brown doors rounded at the top, and rectangular towards the bottom. i didn't stop and admire his house or anything, i just think pretty quick. not that i was walking at the speed of light or anything.
i reached my house and had dinner with my mother at one of our dining tables. i was mid way through my dinner when i received a notification. it was from felix again.
felix: u out of work yet?

felix: oh HIIII!! i hope i get classes with u tmrw:)
y/nissoskibidi: ㅋㅋㅋ i js hope i get classes with my friends
felix: me too, including u! i didn't get to talk to u in person yet, it'd be a shame if we weren't able to ever because of schedule changesㅠㅠ
y/nissoskibidi: mhm.. u eat yet?
felix: yesss i had chicken (felix cannibal??!)

i put my phone down and took a shower. i got in my t shirt and shorts then brushed my teeth. after cleansing my face, i stuck a face mask on my face, like every other day. i was a bit scared to see who i was gonna have classes with. hopefully at least one of my friends. even felix, just someone.
anywho, i took the face mask off after half an hour and scrolled on tiktok for a bit. after 3 hours, i began to fall asleep. i did a quick prayer, then put my phone down to charge. id be receiving my schedule tomorrow at 8:00 A.M., on the dot.
