just wanna start this off by saying, THANK YOU FOR 200 READS!!! i really didn't think this would go anywhere.. thank you all very much! i have two other ffcs on my account, if lee know isn't your bias. i'm really surprised by people actually reading my work, so thank you very much! i know the book is already complete, but im gonna throw a little extra here~

Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW

"y/n-ah! get ready we're going to an event with my coworkers to celebrate!" a manly voice who belonged to my dad screamed from the lower level of my room.

"huh..? oh.. okay.." i slightly screamed, having just woken up from his screaming. i rubbed my eye and fixed my hair, which had been pointed in all different directions. the time was 8:24 P.M., shame reining down on me for napping for 4 hours straight.

i slowly rose from my bed, the smell of warmth and my perfume faintly brushing against my nose as i got up. upon opening my closet, i took out a dark red dress and slowly began to undress.

the dress slid up my body, slipping the dress on feet first. i walked towards my bathroom, turning on the lights as my tired eyes adjusted to the brightness.

first, i did my skincare routine to wake myself up. then, i did my makeup to match my red dress, taming my hair and tying it up into a long ponytail and leaving the closet, making sure to shut the lights off as i closed the door.

i always had to attend my dad's events, just because his work partners "wanted me there." i grabbed my handbag, being said that i couldn't bring my headphones for the occasion. after all, it was a formal event and tote bags or headphones would be "informal."

"get in the car we're gonna be late!" my dad yelled, rushing towards the door, even though we were perfectly on time.

the car ride to the event was silent while i was sulking in the passenger seat without my headphones. i connected the radio to my phone, playing "DLMLU" by stray kids.

"we're here! let's go!" my dad cheered while getting out the driver seat, as i did the same on the other side. we walked towards the double doors of what seemed like a bar.

"yoo billy! we're so glad you could make it! come, come, drink with us!" a group of people started surrounding him. they put their arms around his shoulder and talked with him, leaving me standing in the entrance.

i took a seat at an empty table, confused as to what to do at an event with no one i knew. suddenly, i heard a voice coming from beside me.

"annyeong, jagiya~" the voice endearingly said. i turned to look at who it was, noticing it had been none other than the lee minho. he put his arm around my shoulder and pushed me towards him. he was wearing a black suit, his pants wide legged. i smelled his expensive cologne on his jacket, my head below his chin.

"hi minho-ah!" i smiled as i looked up at him, his eyes meeting mine. his arm was gently placed on my waist, his eyes filled with the stars in the sky. he looked so adorable, his bangs resting right in the middle of his eyes.

"how come you didn't reply to my messages?" he mumbled, his eyes looking pouty and teary-eyed. i was confused. did he send me any messages? oh, that's right. i was asleep. i quickly checked my phone to see that he did, in fact, send me a text asking about the event at 7:44 P.M.

"sorry linoyah, i was taking a nap.." i muttered, my hand carefully placed against his cheek. his eyes carved into a crescent as his straight face emerged into a smile, gently leaning in and placing his lips on mine.

"don't worry about it, i'm just teasing~ i love you, y/nnie," he whispered into my ear, slowly pulling away with his eyes still sparkling.

"i love you more, pretty boy~" i cooed as i gently brushed his hair. his cheeks glowed a soft red tint, putting his hand over his mouth and looking away, pretending to act cool. he really was handsome. i understood the girls in my high school a couple years ago just then.

a man walked up to our table, looking around my age. i had assumed it was my dad's coworker's son, as in his business, everyone had to bring their kids to an event.

"hey, are you yoo y/n?" he asked, taking a seat beside me. i looked over at minho, his eyes dulled and a straight face replacing his adorable smile.

"you're father's calling for you to meet with him and his coworkers. you can come too, lee minho i'm assuming?" he said, a fake smile plastered on his face. he walked away, going back to his family at a separate table near the corner.

"shall we?" he got up, his hand placed out in front of me. i took his hand, getting up off my chair and walking towards the direction my father had gone a couple of minutes ago.

they walked into a vip room, the room filled with yelling, collective laughing, shot glasses clinking, and lively conversation.

"y/n-ah! minho! come! come! sit here!" my dad patted to seats next to him as we walked over and slowly took out seats.

"so, what have you two been up to?~" uncle lee slowly uttered, his elbow on the table as his head rested on his palm.

"nothing really-"

"when are we going to have grandchildren? i want to be a grandpa!" my dad blurted, a stupid smile on his face. i could tell he had drunken at least 3 or more bottles of alcohol.

me and minho looked at each other, blushing at his words. i didn't know what to say, until minho spoke.

"soon," he smirked, looking over at me and putting his hand around to my right shoulder, him sitting on my left.

"oooh~" one of my dad's coworkers cooed, his head just barely touching the table as he had just almost passed out. the room filled with another collective laughter and cheers.

"soon?! ack i'm getting stressed out.." i put my head on my forehead, leaning back into my chair and closing my eyes.

"come on.. you know you want to~"

"AFTER MARRIAGE!"

"then let's get married y/n-ah~"

"have you been drinking too?!"
