what i get for trying to be nice

both hyunjin and lee know walk through the door, talking. i haven't thought about this possibility, but what if lee know was also a player like hyunjin? it would make sense. they're friends and both pretty popular. not that i would care if he was a player anyway. although, i don't think a nerdy cat lover would be a player. i guess he just so happens to be handsome and mean.
         i really hoped one of my friends would walk through that door. but every time i looked at the door as someone walked in, it wasn't anyone i knew. i slumped back in my chair in disappointment.
         i was still listening to my music as "VOLCANO" by han jisung was playing in my headphones. i was deeply focused on the birds nest on the tree next to the window as i heard someone take the seat next to me.
         "y/n-ssi, may i take this seat?" minho asked gently. i agreed, as i couldn't exactly say no to that.
         "woah, you're quite the gentleman~" i teased. although, i couldn't figure out why he was being so gentle.
         "want me to ignore you every time you talk to me? i know you don't~" he purred. what the fuck? gosh, so much for being humble.
         "if people see you talking to me like this, they'd think we're a couple," i breathed, cupping my cheek with my hand as a smile emerges from my lips.
         "ah! i'll stop!" he put his hands up as if he was held as gunpoint and looked away. damn. ㅋㅋㅋ i'm just joking id rather die than date minho.
          i can't believe all of a sudden, i'm talking to the three most popular guys in school. i guess that's just what i get for trying to be nice.

LEE KNOW'S POINT OF VIEW

         i was in history class, next to y/n and hyunjin. hyunjin had taken the seat next to me after i took the seat next to y/n.
         i really hated history. really, i just hated school. everything is so boring during school. probably because i don't talk to a lot of people, though. i would try and make friends, but i have trust issues. i guess i already had hyunjin. he's a real friend, because he doesn't want to use me for anything, if i'm even useful.
         all of a sudden, the bell rang. everyone began emerging from their seats and gravitating towards their friends.
         after history, i had english. i took english to learn another language because my father had told me to.
         "see you soon, y/nssi~" i smiled, patting her head. hyunjin looked at me then back at her.
         "are you guys... uh.. you know..?" he mouthed, gasping.
         "absolutely not!" we both say in unison. we looked at each other with both shock and disgust. i didn't even look at her that way. i don't think she looks at me like that either.
         anywho, we walked to our next class. again, there was no one i knew there. this time, no y/n and not hyunjin. however, there was a guy i had heard of.
         lee felix. the ray of sunshine at our school. i don't think i've ever seen him sad or upset, yet i'm the complete opposite. at school, i'm always upset. especially when people talk to me. gosh, how i hate people.
         with his blue hair, it's almost impossible not to notice him. there was already a swarm of people around him, talking and socializing. i took my seat at the corner and i heard people whispering. they were talking about me.
         "both lee felix and lee minho are in our classes!! oh how i love life!" these random girls squealed. i don't know what's so special about me honestly.
         the class was over with and i started walking out the classroom. while walking down the hall, i was stopped by a girl.
"..er.. h-hi.. lee know oppa.." the girl murmured, her face red as hell. she's embarrassing herself so horribly. people were looking at her.
i glared at her. she wasn't my type at all. her friends were behind her. they looked scared for her. almost as if they knew this was a bad idea.
"u-um.. can i tell you s..something..?" she stumbled over her words. gosh it's humiliating just standing here.
i began walking again, looking away from her. she pulled my shirt and forced me to stop.
"oh my fuck. what could you possibly want?" i turn, still glaring at her.
"lee know ah..! d-don't be li-like tha..t.." she had tears in her eyes. ugh. let's just get this over with.
"oppa.. i like you! everything about you!" she blushed, pouting her lips. gosh. this is fucking hilarious but embarrassing at the same time. i wish i had been recording.
"well i don't like you, please don't talk to me again," i replied back, trying not to burst out into laughter. i quickly walked away as i heard her begin to sob in her friends' arms.
"what a kind and respectful gentleman, lee minho," i heard a voice next to me say. i recognized it immediately.
"what can i say? my father raised me right," i reply back.
"..was your father absent or something?" y/n blurted. wow, what a statement!
"ㅋㅋㅋ let's just go," i spouted. the junior floor was 2 flights off the ground, so we had to walk a bit to get to the exit.
once we reached the bus stop, y/n met up with her friends. i don't know any of their names because i didn't pay attention to them, but they were quite the lively group. once her friend group left one by one, it was just me and her.
finally, our bus came. this time, i used my bus pass and sat down at my usual seat. the bus ride took about 30 minutes, and i was able to get home at 3:25 P.M.
i took a shower and changed into a grey hoodie and sweats with white socks. it was friday, which meant i could sleep in the next day. i scrolled on tiktok for a couple hours until my father had called me down for dinner.
eating dinner, i scrolled on instagram. my account had over 19M followers because of my father's success.
after eating dinner, i did quick ab exercises. i had gotten in the habit, after my father told me it was necessary to grow as a man. after exercising, i went back to scroll on tiktok, washing my face beforehand.
i did my homework for the week after procrastinating, then listened to some music. i listened to "limbo" by well.. by me (breaking the fourth wall😉). soon enough, it was already 12 A.M. i had nothing to do, and i was getting quite tired. i never stay up this late, considering my routine was used to the school days. since i was tired, i decided the logical solution to do at this time was to go to bed. shutting off the lights, putting my phone to charge, brushing my teeth, getting into my king sized bed, i closed my eyes and fell asleep within the first five minutes.

a/n: honestly, some parts in the last couple paragraphs were kind of unnecessary, i just wanted to reach the word count ㅋㅋㅋ i realized i never add the word count.. ill go add them to my drafts now! i hope you all are eating well today!
