29. Heartbeat!!!

CHRISTIAN's POV
5 day later

The last few days of my life are most wrecking. In a split of seconds I lost my wife my love and my baby lost her mother. Once again!! As much I want to hate Sarah I cannot. Her voice her laugh her smile is embedded on my heart. But then again...she was a threat to my family.

When she left, Elena saw her and asked her but she didn't say anything. Elena ran to me and asked me every sort of question. I had no clue how to tell her that she was faking it all and wanted to kill us because of what Liam did to her sister. She yelled at me like my mother and called me every shitname she knew for letting Sarah or Calista go.

"You arse donkey with a dumb mind...you let her go just because you had a fight. You moron. Move your fucking ass and grab her." Is exactly what she said to me when I said we had a fight and she left.

She scolded me for a good hour and eventually gave up. In this moment I miss my Sarah I want her I need her but she is not here anymore and will never be. More than myself my daughter misses her mother. She hasn't slept properly for 5 days and is grumpy like an old man. Elena tried everything she can but she won't take her. I have been a bed potato and look like some 3rd grade movie villain.

"For how long do you plan to rot in this bed?"

"Not now Morrone."

"I have not come here to take your shit. Get you ass moving and fucking at least take a shower. You stink."

"Get the hell out of here. Where are your daughters? Shouldn't you be with them and Vanessa?"

"They can handle me gone for a few hours. See Christian. She is gona and is never gonna be back and you still have a life a family and a daughter to take care of. She will move on and so should you. I know its hard but you gotta do it anyway. "

I know he is right but.... I can't. Everywhere I see there is her.
"Christian you have some guests over." Elena barges in the room and with a straight face not attempting to hide her displeasure.

"Tell them I'm busy." I say

"It's important. Father has called for you."

"Tell them I am sick and can die any moment."

"It's....It's Boris Kosikawa and....Sarah" my eyes shoot open and I look at Elena. Is this true? And why is she here? Along with her father?

"I'll be there in a minute." I say her and she leaves.

"Do you want me to alert the guards in case?" Morrone asks.

"Noo" I blurt out."if he wanted to hurt us he wouldn't have come like a guest. Let's go"

As I descended the stairs so many thoughts clouded my mind. Is she here for divorce papers? Or is she gonna ask for something? Why is her dad here?
All these thoughts came to a halt as soon as I saw her. Pale skin. Blood red eyes. Tousled hairs. She was a mess.

"Christian, come here my son." Dad greets me first and then I look at Boris, Sarah's father. She is identical to him. Like me and Blue.

"Is there a reason for your unannounced visit?" I ask Boris

"Christian I'm...."

"Not talking to you young lady." My dad interrupted Sarah before she could complete her sentence.

"Christian...I am here to apologise for my daughter." Boris says.

"Whatever my daughter did was because she was in pain for the loss of her sister. Your shit of a brother.."

"Watch your mouth Kosikawa. He might be dead but his father is not." Dad argues.

"Your son killed my daughter Knight. And Calista was here for the revenge. But your other son did some kind of magic and she fell in love with him. She was supposed to be back home 3 months ago but she declined me again and again because she said that she can't leave Christian alone with his daughter. I tried everything to bring my daughter back but she won't. Ultimately I gave up and let her live the way she wanted. "
