I walked back into house and took the leash off lucky. I had just gotten back from taking him for a walk and grabbing the mail.

"I may have found a job" Nadia said walking out the guest room

I smiled "what is it ?" I asked

"I'm not gonna say just yet, I just wanna make sure it's legit before I get my hopes up"

I nodded "that's understandable"

"Just know I'm trying" she said causing me to nod

"That's good"

"We should plan a trip to Puerto Rico" she said as I placed my mail on the counter

"With what money ?" I asked

"I mean we can go half, and maybe Trevon could cover the rest" she shrugged

I stopped what I was doing "why would he do that"

"Cause you're his girl. Girl that nigga got money, why aren't you using your head"

"I'm not with him cause of his money"

"I know but still"

"Okay Nadia. I'm not asking Trevon for anything, plus I just came from Hawaii I don't really wanna go on another trip" I said rolling my eyes

"Okay. Anyways I'm about to go somewhere, I'll see you later" she said leaving out the door as Trevon walked in

He closed the door "she finally leaving ?" He asked

I chuckled "no she's just going somewhere"

He sighed "that's lame." He said picking up lucky then sat on top of the counter

"But look you need to keep your eye on her, everytime I see her I get a bad taste in my mouth" he said

"What you mean ?"

"I don't know. She just weird"

I nodded "What you got plan for today ?" I asked him

"Nothing really, just chilling"

"You ate ? Want me to make you something to eat ?"
