"Where are they?"Fatima asked as the game just ended and we were looking for our kids.
"I don't know they should've been back by now."I said scanning the crowd of people finally seeing Zachariah and Karter standing by the fence.I motioned for them to stay there.
"There they are come on."I said as we made our way down the stands.
"What took y'all so long?"Fatima asked as I nodded in agreement.
"Uh I-" Zachariah started as she cut him off.
"When we got down here I had to use It and the restroom line is way longer than the food line because most of the stalls are out of order and-"
"Ok ok we get it."I said as sh handed us the drinks.
"Pops you saw me out there? Everybody was watching I got 16 touchdowns tonight I heard the scouts were here."Micheal said walking up with his girlfriend Sarah as we did our handshake.And Sarah, Karter, and Fatima chatted.
"Thats exactly what I'm talking about son it's what we been working on what you've been working one I'm proud of you."I said hugging him patting his back.
"I'm-uh gonna go to the car."Karter said differently than usaul but I brushed it off..
"Yeah me too."Zachariah said as Fatima gave him the keys. "Good game bro"They said as they hugged Micheal and walked away.
"Micheal Taylor?"A man said as we were all walking and talking.
"Who's asking?"I said turning to him.

"Deion sorry."he said introducing himself shaking my hand. "I'm a coach for-
"The Colorado buffs of we know who you are."Micheal said exitedly.
"But yes sir I was looking at your boy here and almost everyone has there eyes on him it's no way he's not going to be committed by the end of the season but I want him to play for us I think our program would flourish with your son on it and I also think that Michael would do very well.And I would love to sit down and go into detail with you and Michael so that you know I have his best interest at heart."He said
"Well think about it."I said taking the card he handed out as he nodded.
"You all have a blessed night be safe now."he said walking away.
"What do you think?"Fatima asked Michael as he was super happy.
"Ma thats Deion Sanders do you know how well the buffs are doing right now? Of course I wanna go to Colorado."He said
"Son it's so many factors that go into this though. Yes Colorado is a great team and he has great players but with that that means you have to fight for a spot you might not even get play time your first year if you don't impress them he has heavy hitters that means you don't have room to not be perfect i don't know about this."I said as we made it to the car.
"That just means I'll have to work harder but you taught me that already dad.So please call him I wanna hear what he has to say."He said

"Where's mom?"I asked dad as he got ready because she was supposed to take me to cheer practice.
"She just left for work and to drop Michael and Zachariah off first. Why? What's wrong?"he said as i nodded biting my lip.
"nothing." I said texting Leon to come get me but not before star texted me.
