Well, here's my new story. I hope you like it. It may be R rated later on, so there's a forewarning. I'll also add a warning at the beginning of the mature chapters. I really hope you all enjoy it, I've worked really hard on it.

Chapter One“Congratulations!” I heard the word on repeat for the last hour. We hadn’t even left the school yet, but somehow every pack member had managed to show up to my older brother, Reese’s graduation. I imagine it was because it’s also Archer’s graduation, and he’s the future alpha.
Considering we were werewolves, the alpha meant a great deal to us. He was the most well respected man of the pack, so his son, who would someday take over, was just as respected. However, what I felt for Archer was much less than respect.
I hated both of them, Reese and Archer. I suppose I hated them as much as any normal girl would hate her older brother and his best friend. They not only ruined my life on a daily basis, but were also my school’s very own man whores.
I hadn’t shifted yet, but I was expected to any time. Around the age of sixteen or seventeen, we shift for the first time. A lot of my classmates had gone through the transformation this school year, but I’d always been young for my grade.
I waited, bored. I was ready for their graduation party, where I could sit and play the adorable sister while minding my own business and escaping into the wonderful world of my new book. I’d finished Pride and Prejudice during the graduation ceremony, and I was antsy to start Wuthering Heights.
“Oh smile, Itty Bitty Amity,” Archer smirked, “It’s almost over and you can go off and be a nerd.”
I hated his nickname for me. It had started when I was little, and I wasn’t so ‘itty bitty’. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t fat, but I had a little more than my share of baby fat. He called me the mean nickname sarcastically, making me cry most of my life. We spent the summer I turned fifteen away from one another. That summer had been my miracle summer, where I grew, slimmed down, and gained curves all in one summer. When I returned, he seemed shocked, claiming, “Itty Bitty Amity really is itty bitty!”
“You look hot, by the way,” he whispered cunningly into my ear. I glared at him. I’d worked hard on the outfit, but I didn’t really want him commenting on it. I was wearing a white and salmon colored dress with my shiny platform pumps that were a shiny salmon. I’d worn my hair up, in a bun that I’d fixed to look like a bow.
“Can we get one last picture of the boys?” Archer’s mother, the Luna of the pack asked, smiling.
“Amity why don’t you get in the picture with them?” his mother, Amara, suggested. I sighed, not moving.
“Amity Grace!” my mother scolded, and I walked over, standing a foot away from the boys.
“How about you go in the middle, a rose between two thorns?” Amara said, and I did as I was told, the guys wrapping their arms around me. We smiled and they took pictures. I felt Archer’s arm slide down and pinch my butt, and I turned and slapped him across the cheek.
“I deserved that,” he smiled cheekily.
“Amity! Apologize! That is no way to treat your future alpha!” my mother scolded. Normally, I wouldn’t be so unladylike, but there was something about Archer that just drove me to wits end. He drove me up a wall, and I hated him.
“Sorry,” I mumbled.
“Sorry, I couldn’t hear you, what was that?” Archer toyed with me.
“SORRY!” I yelled.
“Much better, babe,” he winked. I clenched my jaw, biting my tongue.
We drove over to the pack house, where Archer and Reese were having their graduation party together. I helped in the kitchen, serving plates for whoever walked through the door. Once lunch was over, the food remained in the kitchen, open for anyone who wanted some, but I was allowed to go and sit in the garage to visit.
Truly, I got out my book and sat on the porch swing, slipping off my heels and reading. I watched as little kids ran across the yard, playing tag. Some guys were playing football, including Archer and Reese. Archer looked over at me and winked.
“Amity!” my best friend, Elsey smiled, walking across the yard and joining me on the porch swing.
“Where’s Kat?” I asked, inquiring about our other best friend.
“She’s going through her transformation,” Elsey explained. Elsey had gone through it about a month ago, and now Kat. I had to admit, I did feel a little left out.
“So word on the street says that there’s going to be a wicked party out in the cabin tonight,” Elsey smiled.
“You guys should come,” Archer said, suddenly appearing beside us.
“No thank you,” I spat. I wasn’t going to any party with Archer there. Not only because he was going to be there, but because wherever he went, my brother was sure to be, too. I didn’t really want to go to a party with my brother breathing down my neck.
“Suit yourself, princess,” he winked, and left.
“You should go,” I told Elsey.
“By myself?”
“Sure, maybe you’ll find your mate,” I said. She looked hopeful at this, and I laughed.
“You’re definitely going to go,” I said.
The party lasted what felt like forever. I took a shower and changed into a t-shirt and some shorts to sleep in. It was pretty exhausting to plaster on a fake smile all day and listen to everyone drone on about your brother and his best friend.
I sat and flipped through a Seventeen magazine, singing along softly to the soft voices of Haim’s ‘Don’t Save Me.’ I smiled, I was so ready for summer. This was going to be my summer. Hopefully I wouldn’t run into Archer or Reese too much. Hopefully I’d shift. Hopefully I’d find my mate, and if not I could spend the summer flirting with cute boys at the beach.
My door was burst open, and in walked Archer, who walked straight to my closet.
“Put this on,” he said, pulling out a sexy skimpy dress.
“What are you doing in my room?” I hissed.
“You’re going to that party, and you’re wearing that,” he said.
“The hell I am,” I spat.
“You will if I have to dress you myself,” he said, adamant.
So that’s how the first night of my summer vacation began, with Archer dragging me out of my room by my hair.
