We are orbiting Jupiter, I look through the ship's transparent windows, a carnival of gasses dance in front of me, a view so incredible, as if it were "The Starry Night". Even though it is such a majestic view, a mind-boggling fear takes me over. Will this space ship endure entering Jupiter's demonic pressure? That's why I said it was a suicide mission, but it's all or nothing.
The ship is closer and closer to entering Jupiter's endless kilometers of cloud, but it has a problem, a big one. The big red spot is heading our way, and now it's too late to escape. We activate the ship's maximum speed and pierce the clouds as quickly as possible. At that moment the seconds last for hours, the ship pierces Jupiter's great cloud. It looks like we're finally going to get out of the storm's path, until red dust covers our entire view and a gale catches up with us. The ship's systems begin to beep, a beeping that echoes violently in our eardrums. It is possible to feel the ship being launched, faster than we ourselves were. Jupiter's never-ending bleeding had caught up with us. I really thought that at that moment it would be the end of me, but everything stopped abruptly. We were just falling, or rather, being pulled, and apparently the storm managed to throw us even deeper.
Darkness took over our surroundings and it remained that way for 3 long hours, until a flash of light illuminated the horizon. Soon after, another flash blinded us for about three seconds. The flashes continued, one by one, illuminating that void, as if they were lightning from a charged storm. Suddenly, the ship detected three strange bodies, bodies that were moving towards it. Apparently, it was a direct attack and we were hit by a barrage of lasers, which had no effect. More and more lasers were fired. The ship's hull was made of Earth material, so whatever substance they used wouldn't damage it. So now was our chance to strike back. Three beams of particles destroyed a ship that was turning around on that battlefield, another nine beams tried to find the other ships, but without success. One of the ships turned towards ours. As it was unable to have any effect with its shots, the only option was to launch itself against the enemy. A poorly executed swoop skimmed past our ship. As the enemy lost speed, we shot the beams at the alien ship, and it was split in half, falling empty below. Now there was only one ship left, and that was it.
— 431, we lost the ship. I repeat, we lost the ship! Restart servers six and five, prepare 7 EM weapon blasts in all directions. Pollaris Astrunn shouted.
And so it was done. We shot everywhere, repeatedly trying to find where the ship was hiding. The volleys failed. After confirming that the enemy ship had fled, we continued to descend.
As we traveled toward the center of Jupiter, I couldn't stop thinking about those alien ships, how strange they were. They moved like asteroids, they were different from the ship we found on Earth. From the little I saw, I managed to notice a strange shape on it, a shape that was not uniform, kind of rounded, but two pairs of holes that shined on its sides. Could these be the "asteroids" that we saw so much on Earth?
The pressure gauge reached its maximum a long time ago. We were relying solely on alien technology. I wonder, why the hell did those "rays" that were launched towards our ship have no effect? Who would have thought that materials from our own earth would be our Deus Ex Machina. As time passed, vivid memories appeared in my mind, but among all those memories, one stabbed me. I saw my family, who I had lost 20 years ago. This is the price of implanting the chip of life, if I could, I would go back in time, to hug them once again. Why did the war kill them and not take me? I have long understood that, when accepting eternal life, immeasurable suffering enters you, and with each passing time it eats away at you even more, gutting your mind. What I didn't do in the past I have to do here. To our land, which is almost uninhabitable, the mission cannot fail...
