I was stuck in a new table group with Lexi, who was pretty decent and this kid with the longest neck ever, Prague and the idiotic George, who, as described, is an absolute idiot. I smiled nervously at Lexi, who just stared back at me with nervous eyes. I guess Prague and George are good friends, because they were pretty much chill with each other and snickering to the other.
This is gonna be great, I thought.
A few years ago, Lexi and I were like-besties. But something happened, and we're on shaky ground, leaving me with no one to really talk to. I already knew I would hate grade 7, considering the teacher, who is known for her strict reputation.
I looked around the class, searching for my friends. Misa smiled at me encouragingly and I hesitantly smiled back. I suddenly got a paper in front of me, announcing the end of the first science chapter. I looked at it, and realized it was a project with four questions.
