It was the end of the day, and I gave myself a pat on the back for surviving this extra strange day.
And here I was, thinking grade 7 was going to be the most boring year of my life.
We had around forty minutes of school left, and I was going to use that to fix things.
You don't exactly have to apologize.
I stood near the front of the class, where Prague, Misa and Prague's friend were talking, and eavesdropped on their conversation.
"-genuinely-" Prague pronounced 'genuinely' as 'ge-nu-ine-ly' not 'ge-nu-in-ly'.
"Um, Prague," I said, tapping his shoulder lightly, "It's 'genuinely' not 'genuinely'."
He stared at me for a second, making me want to squirm, but not allowing myself to. It was as if I was trapped in his gaze, locking me in, rooting me to the spot.
"NERD." He told me, laughing.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever"
Misa gave me a knowing look. I glared at her.
I smiled at Prague, feeling happy about how I fixed the cold space between us. He smiled back, making me want to cherish this moment.
That wasn't so bad.
