I grabbed the bottle, plan forming.

This kid keeps messing with my mind, I thought, looking around the class to make sure no one was looking. I ran out to the pod, where Prague was speaking with a friend from the other grade 7 class.

Please let this go well.

I walked up silently to him, noticing how he turned his head so slightly to see who's coming behind him that I might not have even noticed it if I weren't paying attention to his every move.

I tapped his shoulder, discreetly hiding his bottle behind me.

"What do you want?" he asked, not harshly.

I didn't say anything and just revealed the water bottle I held.

His eyes flashed for a split second before grabbing for his bottle.

"Don't," he told me, as I moved the bottle out of reach. "You don't know how to use it." He said again.

"I know how to drench you," I replied. "Imagine not being able to have your bottle." I teased.

I ran behind him, pulled his shirt, and squirted the water down his back.

"Kaylaaaaa," he groaned, scrambling to get the water out. "I told you not to do that. You sprayed way too much."

"I'm not sorry," I said sharply. "You deserve it."

"What did I do?" he asked, still writhing in his wet shirt.

"You existed." I replied.

Why am I acting like this?
