I shivered in my seat, not knowing why.
Why am I still here, cowering from some dude I don't even know? I asked myself.
I sighed and got up from my seat, stretching from the exhausting day I had, both physically and mentally.
You can't hide forever, Kayla
I dragged myself to my locker, forcing my stone feet to move.
"KAYLAAA!"
I sighed for what seemed like the billionth time today.
"Rae," I said, plastering a what should be a fake smile on my face. "what do you need now?" I asked.
"I think Mrs Aydon is a robot. She's been on her phone all day and hasn't looked up since."
"You think? That woman is a weird one." I replied, not feeling like having a conversation over nothing.
"Do you think she's been possessed?"
"Possessed by what, Kuromi?"
"Whatever." Rae snickered, then ran off, probably to go rant to Misa.
There was a hollow feeling in my chest, as if I was missing something. I couldn't really place the feeling. I stared at my locker, not knowing what I was still doing there.
You know what you want, Kayla.
"Which is what?" I muttered to myself.
Just go back to class.
I sighed again, not wanting to talk to people. There was only one person on my mind right now, and I had no clue of what to do about it. Prague came into my life, destroyed it, then rebuilt it. In which my world finally revolves around him.
If only.
