Love at First Sight (Reed Deming Fanfiction) ON HOLD

Where it All Began

I got up and had a shower, did my hair, got dressed, brushed my teeth, you know, the usual. I had my long golden brown hair down straight and I was wearing some dark wash skinny jeans, an indigo T-shirt with a green sequin heart on it and topped it off with the one and only "Reedling" SnapBack. I had crêpes for breakfast. YUM! After I finished, I was in the car and on my way to meet the one and only Reed Deming! I was so excited!

~~~At the mall~~~

I got to the mall and there were about 75 people already lined up. It would be a long wait but I didn't care. While I was in line, I just talked to my mom about random things like school, what my plans were this week, and whatever popped into our heads. Time flew by. Soon enough I was next in line. Just a few minutes away from meeting him in person. It was such an amazing feeling! I glanced behind me and was shocked at how many Reedlings there were in Sudbury! There were about 50 more people behind me. I turned around to see a security guard. He stepped aside and let me inside the room where Reed was. This was it.

~~~The Meet and Greet~~~

My heart was pounding so hard I'm pretty sure everyone could hear it and yet I kept calm. I saw Reed standing there looking at me with a smile on his face and I walked over to him and he opened his arms signalling for me to hug him. The hug was a warm and rather long one. I tried to pull away but he held me there. Oh well, I'm not complaining ;) He finally let go and we both smiled at my mom who was taking a picture with her camera. He asked me questions about myself such as my name, my age, ect. I asked him if he liked my SnapBack and he replied: "I love it! Can I try it on?" OH MY GOSH. THE Reed Deming wants to try on MY HAT?! I replied: "Sure!" I took it off and handed it to him. He placed it on his head and fixed his bangs (classic Reed) My mom took another picture of me and Reed except this time he was wearing my hat. He took it off and put it back on my head. My mom went outside to start the car. I started to leave but Reed stopped me by taking my hand. He asked me for another hug. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug then whispered in my ear: "I hug lots of fans everyday but when I'm in your arms, I get butterflys." I instantly blushed and hugged him tighter. We let go of each other and turned to leave but he stopped me again. He asked me if I had a cellphone. I assured him that I did and he asked me for it. He took mine and he handed me his and told me to enter my number into his contacts. I put in my number with my name as: Skyler :D. He handed me back my phone, we waved goodbye then I walked out.

~~~In the car~~~

I checked my contacts for Reed to see what he had entered as his name. I found his name and it read: Reed <3. I almost died right there of a happiness overload! Did Reed actually like me? I must have been quiet for a long time because my mom broke the silence by asking me: "So why do you think you got such a long meet and greet session with him?" I told her the most honest answer I could think of: " I think Reed likes me."

~~~REED'S POV AT THE MEET AND GREET~~~

The meet and greet started at 11:00 AM and fan after screaming fan came in, hugged me, took pictures with me, sometimes asked me questions and then left. Nothing too special even though I love all of my Reedlings. About 75 or so fans came and went until one girl caught my eye and I felt something that I'd never felt before. It was a tingly feeling in the pit of my stomach. When she walked in, her blue eyes sparkled, her hair shined liked strands of gold and she could light up a room with her perfect smile. She was absolutely stunning. I instinctively smiled at her. She wasn't freaking out like the others were. She acted completely normal. I liked that about her a lot. We hugged each other and I never wanted to let her go. I felt her pull away a bit but I never wanted this moment to end. I held her a little longer than let go. We took pictures but I genuinely smiled because she was the reason I had to smile in that moment. We talked for a while then we got on the topic of snapbacks. She had an amazing one on and I asked her if I could try it on. I put it on and smiled. Her mom left and I knew it was now or never to hug her one last time. I somehow found the courage to grab her hand and pull her into a hug. I whispered in her ear: "I hug lots of fans everyday but when I'm in your arms, I get butterflys." I felt her tighten her grip on me. We released each other and I asked her for her number. She put hers into my phone and I did the same with hers. She left and I smiled at the way she had written her name. "Skyler" I said under my breath as I smiled making sure no one heard me. The rest of the fans came in as usual and I almost went deaf after one girl screamed while hugging me. On the way home from the meet and greet, I couldn't take my mind off of Skyler. The way she talked, the way she looked, her personality, everything. She was different, but I liked it.
