I Like You... Alot...

~~Reed's POV~~AT SCHOOL~~

We started class with math and then English. I was staring at the clock, watching the seconds tick down until 3...2...1 *RING!* The bell rang and everyone scrambled out of class to their lockers, then outside. When we got outside, Skyler introduced me to some of her guy friends. I started talking to one named Jordan. He was short, he had short brown hair and brown eyes. He wore white Osiris high-tops, black jogging pants and a black and red jacket. He started asking me things about myself. He asked me where I was from, my favourite colour, what kind of pets I had, pastimes, ect. He surprised me by saying: "There's one more thing that I NEED to know. Who do you like?" "I like Skyler okay?" I replied quietly. I asked:"Well now that you know who I like, who do you like?" "I like Sarah." Sarah was a girl with medium length dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was also short. Jordan leaned in and said: "You see that guy over there?" He pointed to a long blond haired boy with blue eyes. I nodded. "His name's Ryan Douglas." He added: "He likes Skyler too. And gets... Um... Angry sometimes..." I gave Jordan a weird look and brushed it off.

~~Still Reed's POV~~AFTER SCHOOL~~

The rest of the school day went pretty normally. I got home where I was greeted by my mom and ran upstairs to my bedroom. I jumped and landed on my back on my bed and pulled out my phone. I started texting Skyler.

Text convo: (S-Skyler R-Reed)

R- Hey 😃

S- Hi 😋

R- What's up?

S- nothing much just watching TV

R- Cool, wanna go to the park with me?

S- Sure, when?

R- be there in 10 minutes?

S- K see ya there! Bye 😜

R- Bye! 😉

Text convo over.

I was planning on telling her that I liked her at the park. I was really nervous but I didn't want that Ryan kid to date her. I put on some black jeans, a red V-neck shirt and a red hoodie. I put on my 'infinity' SnapBack and my red and black Adidas high-tops and started walking to the park.

~~Skyler's POV~~

I put on my skinny jeans and a dark blue Campus Crew sweater. I put on my teal blue and black SnapBack and my Nike running shoes before walking out the door to go meet Reed at the park. I looked up at the sky and noticed the clouds were a dark blue. I knew it would rain soon but I couldn't just ditch Reed so I kept walking to the park.

When I got to the park, Reed wasn't there yet so I just sat on the swings and started gently pumping my legs to go higher. I felt someone touch my back, pushing me higher. I screamed a little bit and jumped off. I turned around to see Reed on the ground laughing. I shouted: "Oh my god Reed! You scared me! I thought you were some psycho kidnapper or something!" He was still rolling on the ground laughing. By the time he calmed down, I was standing on the main structure of the park. He climbed up the stairs to join me. Just as he stepped foot on the structure, I felt a rain drop land on my shoulder. Then another on my foot. In about ten seconds, it was a full on down pour. We ran under the slide for shelter from the rain. We both sat down and started laughing. We started chit chatting about school. He said: "So I met your friend Jordan and he asked me a bunch of random questions." I laughed: "Yep, that's Jordan for ya!" "During that conversation with him, I found out that someone in the class likes you.. A lot... A lot a lot a lot a lot a lot." "Well are you gonna tell me who it is?" I asked obviously curious. "Fine, but only the initials. His initials are R D" I thought about it and there were two people in my class with the initials R D. Ryan Douglas and Reed Deming. I guessed: "Ryan?" He then replied: "His initials spell RAD." Ryan's initials spelt ROD. Reed's middle name is Alexander. I said: "Reed Alexander Deming?" He nodded his head and smiled. I blushed beat red. He added: "I like you.. A lot a lot a lot a lot a lot. A lot." I smiled at him and said: "I like you too.. A lot a lot a lot a lot a lot. A lot. We both smiled at each other. I noticed he was blushing. "Aww you're blushing!" He looked away smiling and blushed a deeper shade of red. He turned back to me and said jokingly: "It's because of you! You do this to me!" He started tickling me and I am SUPER ticklish! I was laughing my head off and was yelling "STOPPPP!!" In between laughs. He stopped. While I was recovering from hardly being able to breathe, he picked me up bridal style and carried me into the rain. He put me down in the middle of the park and hugged me tight. His body was so warm in the cold rain. We released each other and I stared into his eyes. "I.. I love you Skyler." He stuttered a little. "I love you too Reed." We smiled at each other and I felt his warm lips crash into mine. Our lips moved in sync as we held each other close. I had me hands around his neck and he had his around my waist. The kiss was passionate but not heated. When the kiss ended, I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and smiled. "That was my first kiss." I stated. "Me too." He confessed. "Skyler, would you make me the happiest teenager on earth by being my girlfriend?" "Of course." We hugged again and walked home in the rain with his arm around my shoulder. We parted ways and I got in the house, completely drenched. I ran upstairs to my room and changed into my comfy pyjamas and laid down on my bed thinking about what had just happened. I was the happiest person alive right now! It seems like just a few months ago I was imagining this! Wait.. It was a few months ago... Oh well. I watched some TV until I fell asleep.
