After 15 minutes of overthinking and panicking on the way to the hospital, y/n and their parents have arrived to the hospital and before everything, y/n was put in one of the empty hospital rooms with 6 empty hospital beds with nightstands and a sink with a broken mirror. The white and sterile atmosphere mixed with cracked walls and the white wall paint falling off was making y/n's fear and anxiety come back. Not even 30 minutes have passed but y/n desperately wants to go home and suddenly, one of the nurses comes in the room.

"Hello y/n, I'll be taking you to the changing room before the procedure", says the nurse with a small smile on her face. Y/n goes with her by an elevator. The changing room was in the basement while the operating block of the hospital was on the last floor of the hospital.

When they both arrived, the nurse helped y/n find the changing room and y/n could've almost entered the morgue instead of the changing room and the sight of the morgue made y/n sick to their stomach.

In the changing room, it was really, really cold, which made y/n's anxiety even worse while they were taking off their outfit and putting on the rough and baby blue hospital gown.
"Now let's get you to the operating block, follow me sweetheart", says the nurse.

After another 5 minutes of a ride in an elevator and going upstairs, y/n and the nurse have arrived to the operating block of the hospital.
On the left side were the small waiting room, which is so close to the small and big OR. The small operation room was for minor surgical interventions, while the big was for the major surgeries and procedures, like lobotomies.

It was also really cold there in the waiting room and y/n felt like this was their very last day on Earth.

"I see you're really scared. Is it
because of the procedure or is it because it's your very first time having a surgery?", asked the nurse.
"B-both...I'm so sorry...but I'm so scared of something going wrong and I'm mostly scared of dying on the operating table", y/n replies, shaking in fear.
"Oh no, sweetie, you're not gonna die, the medicine has improved a lot since the 19th and 20th century, I'm sure that lobotomies today are not so painful and bad!", the nurse assures y/n that everything is going to be alright and that they are in good hands.
