"He said what?!" Sumin snapped her neck towards my direction as I was on my ipad, looking through the webpages of the SHS school website.

"That he's going to do it himself! He's even applying to Saeyoung!" Beomgyu exclaimed, half happy that now all his best friends were going to the same place.

"We could have just done it ourselves." Yeonjun shrugged from the couch. He was quite hit by shock that he was dating the enemy's relative.

"That would cause suspicions. Like we didn't bat an eye all these years and suddenly we want to be friends with her." Soobin explained, with a concerned look. I'm sure he noticed Yeonjun's odd behaviour on the ride home as well.

"Kai is new, he could do it." Sumin spoke up. I don't get why she was so scared of me getting involved with this, this was my job for fuck's sake.

I subconsciously clenched my jaw when a possible reason came into my mind.

Could she be scared that I might turn out like a certain someone?

"Kai sucks at anything that isn't tech or music. No way, he would stand a chance." Beomgyu scoffed.

"I never thought I would say this but Beomgyu is right." Kai shook his head in disbelief.

"I thought it out and made this decision on my own. Even grandfather doesn't have a problem, what's it to you?" I asked my sister, not really interested in listening to her reasons.

"What's it to me? You're digging your own grave! Sure, the Guild may not be as good as us but they're still strong and very horrible people! You're taking risks, Taehyun." Sumin tried to make me consider stepping down, but I was certain.

I will approach Jina and get everything out of her, even if it costed my life.

"Sorry but I don't trust anyone else but me to do this." I didn't take my eyes away from the digital application form.

"You never listen, do you?" I could hear that she was upset. But she had to understand that I am well capable of making decisions on my own. Not a kid anymore.

"I'm sure he thought it through, Sumin. I trust him." Soobin said, but my sister only ignored him before slamming her bedroom door.

"You could've been more considerate. You know, she was just worried about you." Soobin adviced. Moments like these remind me just how older these guys are. Usually they act like toddlers that I surprises me everything I'm hit with realisation.

"I know."

"And you should really try out for the defame club!" Soobin tried to cheer the atmosphere up.
