Chapter 46

Iris had determined that she was now the size of a house. Being pregnant with twins was not for the weak. Between her ankles being swollen and her insane cravings she was ready to hold her little babies and be back to her normal size. 

Nik was also ready for Iris to have the babies. Her mood swings had everyone on edge, add in her magical outburst well, let's just say people gave her a wide berth. Nik was also her official craving fetcher. She had told him, 'I'm keeping these babies safe and warm, you can get us what we crave' he was a smart man and didn't argue. 

Unfortunately, not everyone got the memo to avoid Iris at all costs.

Tyler had come back to town, none of them had even cared that he went missing. When he came back he started asking questions about the originals, Nik in particular. Of course he didn't come back alone, he brought a little she wolf named Hayley.

Iris had been at the grill, getting an ice cream when Tyler thought it a good idea to corner her. Walking over to her booth, he slid into the side she was sitting and Hayley sat across from her. 

"Iris, we need some answers about what's happened around here" Tyler demanded of her.

Iris licked her spoon and looked at the two morons who had just interrupted her snack. "Now why would you come to me, thinking I would even want to speak with you after everything" she asked. 

Tyler glared at her, "You know what I am so don't act like you don't know the hybrid" of course, he had heard about Nik. Oh this should be fun.

Smiling sweetly, Iris replied "I know the hybrid alright, but why should I tell you? I mean you are attempting to intimidate me or I assume that's what this is" she points between the two wolves.

"Listen honey, you need to tell us what we want or we could make your life really hard" Hayley threatens her.

Iris eyes harden at her, "You have no idea who I am" nodding her head at Tyler, "This one doesn't even know. So a little advice for you both, don't fuck with me" her eyes take on the black sheen while she's talking. 

Both of the wolves jump at her appearance. "What are you" Hayley asks, Tyler scoots out of the booth. 

"Your worst nightmare and since you interrupted my snack, I may just kill you for it" Iris growls at them.

They weren't sure if she was telling the truth but they didn't want to find out. They ran out of the grill with their tails between their legs.

Nik was talking with his brothers when his phone rings, "Hello Luv, how are you three today" he's quiet when she responds. Glancing between Finn and Elijah he nods towards the door, "I'm on my way, do not move until I get there" he tells her, hanging up.

"Some new wolf and Tyler Lockwood are in town asking questions and just threatened Iris" he tells them and they all head off to her.

Iris had gotten fries while she was waiting for Nik, she had to off set the sweet ice cream with something salty. She was just dipping a fry in her ketchup when a red head sat across from her.

Looking up to the woman she scowls, "Why do people think its okay to bother me while I'm eating" the woman just watches her curiously.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I overheard the conversation with those two and wanted to check on you" the woman says. Iris stares at her, trying to figure out her game.

"I'm fine. What do you really want" Iris asks, dipping another fry.

"I heard them asking about the hybrid, I only know of one and I mainly know of his brother" the woman pauses then asks, "Would you happen to know Finn"
