Westin was gonna hate. My. Guts.

I'd aided Cienna when she started to throw up, and one thing led to another and suddenly, I was inviting her over for dinner tonight! I'll admit, I was a little attracted to Cienna. I mean, what couldn't make me attracted her? Her brown, soft hair that flooded over her shoulders just right, her dark brown eyes and long, dark eyelashes that curled just a little bit, her curvy figure, or the clothes that hugged those curves in just the right way?

I went to my older brother, Tyler's room to ask for his advice. I wanted out of this date, but at the same time, I wanted to stick with it.  Confusing, I know, but when such an attractive girl shows up, your head spins in crazy directions.

"What'dya want?" Tyler snapped. "I need your advice. It's a girl." I said. "Well why didn't you just say so? Come, have a seat." Tyler said. I rolled my eyes. He thought he was some kind of godfather or something. "Well, it's a foreign girl who's living with Westin for a while. They kind of made out, she's kind of mad at him, and I kinda asked her out by accident. My head was all jumbled and I didn't know what to do so I invited her over for dinner tonight." I told him. "God, man. Takin' your bro's girl? Not cool, man, not cool." Tyler said.

I put my hand on Tyler's shoulder, "Man, this is serious. I don't know what to do. I want her to come, but at the same time I don't." I explained. Tyler scratched his head. "Um... I'd just let her come. Explain the situation to Westin, I'm sure he'll understand." Tyler said. "No, Ty, you're not getting it. Westin is in love with this girl. If I get with her, it's gonna ruin our friendship!" I said. "Man. I promise. Westin will understand. If he's really your best bro and he really likes this girl, he'll forgive both of you and say it was just a stupid brain-fart moment and let things go back to the way they were." Tyler said.

I smiled. Tyler may have been twenty-five, only seven years older than me, but it seemed like he had enough wisdom to cover for like, forty years. "Thanks, Tyler. I'm gonna go call Cienna and tell her I'm looking forward to her coming over." I said.

I went into my room and dialed Westin's home phone. Darla answered. "Hello? Darla? This is Gunnar. I'm calling to talk to Cienna." I said. I heard Darla yelling for Cienna. In a second, her voice came on the line. "Gunnar?" she said. "Hi, Cienna. Um... I was just calling to tell you I'm looking forward to you coming over tonight. I'm just checking to make sure you're still gonna be here at eight?" I said. "Oh, of course I'll be there, silly boy! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" she said. God, she was so sweet. "Okay. Well then... I guess I'll see you then?" I said. "Yes, you will. Bye, Gunnar." she said. Then she hung up.

I completely understand why Westin was falling in love with this girl.
