Eves POV
My dad was excessively hugging Henry and pretty much strangling him before I had even had the chance to say hi.
"Welcome back buddy!"
"Kind of tight there big dog."
"Oh! I have missed you so much!" He announced as he kept pretty much strangling Henry
"Ah I think I just heard a rib crack" He said
"It's gonna be more than one by the time in done with you!"
We had to intervene before he had literally hugged him to death
"Alright Ray come on!"
"Yeah that's enough!"
"Release!"
"Do not make me get the crowbar!"
We were trying to pry him off Henry whilst Bose and Miles were... hugging in the corner?
"It's ok it's ok it's ok I got this. You might wanna step back" Henry told us and we all took a step back
He used his force field to push my dad off him and they all stared in awe
"You hate to see it!" Miles said
"My turn!" I yelled and ran up to him
"Oh alright ok" He said, startled by the way I just ran up to him after he hadn't even had the chance to recover from my dad's long, strangling hug before getting tackled into another one by me.
"Why did you tell me you were coming?!" I asked as I shoved him away playfully in a sudden change of mood
"I don't know, I wanted to surprise you I guess?" He replied
"I missed you!" I added as I went in for another hug
"I missed you too so I'm not gonna use my force field on a 13 year old girl. D Force a little help?"
"No no no no no no no no no" I stepped away from the hug
"I'd rather not have Chapa use a crowbar on me."
"Good call" She replied
Henry helped up my dad and he cleared his throat before speaking up again
"Sorry, got a little emotional there, it's just you know you've been gone a long time and I've been so alone"
I furrowed my eyebrows and we all cleared out throats loudly to show him that we were right here.
"Quiet! I'm talking to Henry! So hey uh, what are ya doing back in Swellview?"
"My dad is graduating from Juilliard.com"
"No way! Your dad's a moron!"
"So's mine!" I called out
"I have missed your sarcastic comments" Henry told me before my dad glared at me
"No I'm actually here to see you guys" He gestured to me and my dad.
"Aww my little birdie flew right back to the nest"
"Ew." I chimed in quietly
"Come give mama bird a big old hug!"
"No no no no no no" Henry protested before he was strangled in another hug
"So how's my old job? You guys go on any sick missions?" Henry asked us as he just gave in to the hug
"Oh man tons of missions" Chapa replied
"So many!"
"Yeah? Cool like what? Anything dangerous?"
