Allen immediately ran backwards to the back of the drawer just hoping the human didn't notice him. But deep down, he knew he was done for.
Just as he was about the jump down from the back edge of the drawer a force pulled him back, two massive fingers pinching the back of his shirt.
As he was being lifted to the sky he couldn't help but think, is this really his end? He's never confronted a human. Maybe, just maybe, he would let him go. Maybe, he would be nice. Allen had no way of knowing. Maybe everything he's been taught is wrong. His parents never met humans, nor did their parents so how would they know?
"What.." a whisper broke through Allen's thoughts and he opened his eyes to find himself in front of the two blue eyes from before.
The human walked over to a top cabinet still holding Allen, both of them staring at each other wordless. Out of the cabinet the human took a tall cup, when it made a clinging noise on the counter Allen snapped. He's going in that cup.
Allen started wiggling violently. But that didn't help. The human dropped Allen in the cup and put it down. Allen tried bumping against the edges to try and make the cup fall but the human held it down.
Allen gave up, he just sat down in the cup, thoughts swirling his head. He didn't even notice the human had stepped away. When suddenly, something hit his head.
A crisp? Two? Three? The human had given him three crisps. Allen looked up at the human who was looking at him through the rim of the cup.
"I'm sorry little guy, I didn't mean to scare you." What..? He was sorry? Maybe Allen was right? Should he talk-
No, not yet.Allen sat and ate the circular treat silently, trying really hard to not mind the big eyes staring at him. "Are you okay little man? You're eating very fast.." the human stated, a small under the breath-sentence came out, "god he must be starving." Due to Allen's small being he heard everything much louder.
Was the human caring for him? He minded his well being? Maybe he was a good one after all!
Allen tried climbing out of the cup, with no success. "Oh, you want to leave? I'm sorry for keeping you here.. you must be so scared.. you- you ran back.. geez I'm sorry little guy.." that sentence did it, Allen was confident this must be worth trying.
A hand slid in the cup and picked him up. But not to the counter, back up in front of the humans eyes. "Can you even understand me? What are you thinking right now?", before he was able to react Allen was put unto the counter gently.
Allen looked around then back at the human, "it's okay, you can go now." Allen ran, he ran fast before slowing down and turning around. "Hm? What is it?" The human reacted, Allen reached out a hand as if to shake his with the humans.
"Allen."
The human flinched, he was surprised to hear the small mans voice, the same one he still wasn't fully sure if he actually saw.
The human reached out his pinky finger, "Daniel."
