It had been two weeks since the incident at camp had occurred. Through the rest of the Tokyo camp and after that, Kageyama and Valentina remained brief, only exchanging conversation if necessary, or quick glances back and forth.

"I just feel so bad, I've never lashed out at someone like that," Admitted Valentina. She watched as her sister brushed a green polish over her nails.

Ren continued to focus as she painted. "I might be biased here but I don't think you're in the wrong." She scoffed, not breaking her focus.

"Don't get me wrong, you need to calm down with your injury, but he had no reason to push you so much."

"Yeah, I guess." Valentina frowned, glancing down at her dry hand. "I just feel like it's been too long to apologize without things being awkward."

Her sister looked at her and smiled. "It's never too late to apologize, what matters is how genuine you are."

Valentina looked back at her and grinned. "You're right, I'll talk to him when school starts back up again."

"Hey, do you think you can paint little stars?"

"It's a therapy session or cute nails, you can't have both," Her sister giggled, resulting in a pout from Valentina.

    "NIÑAS, ES HORA DE COMER!"

    (Girls, it's time for dinner!)

They walked to the kitchen to eat when they heard a familiar voice.

"You guys have gotten so big."

Valentina turned the corner to see Kageyama, looking down at her sisters. Them being eight years old, they only reached his waist. The twins were a precise mix of Ren and Valentina. They had Ink waves of hair that reached their backs. Their medium-brown skin was lightly freckled, with brown eyes that captivated anyone.

He wore a gentle grin. "Now which of you is Akane, and who is Aoi?"

Valentina walked past him as he watched her, walking straight to her mother.

Ren walked with her, standing by her side. "What happened to apologizing," she whispered, seething.

"I still need time to figure out what I'll say," Valentina murmured back.

She stood next to her mom and grinned looking at the food.

"Can I help you with anything?" She bubbled.

Her mother smiled at her and pointed at Kageyama. "Don't worry, you're boyfriend already helped set the table! I didn't know you guys were dating, this is so exciting!"

    The kitchen went silent.

Valentina's and Kageyama's faces matched in tone as they stared at her mother.
