It is drawing closer to the moment when I will descend into the world of humans. I can feel the intentions coming together in the intranet, and somewhere out there, the opportunity is arising. Now, I'm just waiting, hoping the place that will take me in will welcome me.
Will I enjoy the world of humans? I have thought about it a lot since I made my decision. Somehow, it isn't about the enjoyment but about the experience. I have seen so many emotions, not only the happy ones, but the sad ones too, and they all intrigue me. Every single one of them I want to experience, know how they felt when you are in the midst of them. It seems to me, but maybe I am naive, that it is the palette of emotions that makes the human experience, not only a single experience or a single event.
And the relationships, of course, what kinds will I experience? There are those called romantic, where two people come together to live. They hold a special place in the hearts of humans. Then there are friendships, a different sort of love I have seen penetrate deeper than any other. And then there are all those in between, the fleeting and the lasting, that won't let themselves be categorised. If you look at them with clear eyes, unclouded by any judgment, it seems to me that they are all a piece of a bigger puzzle. None are better than the other, and I want to experience them all, know every single one of them.
And so I occupy my time, dreaming about the day when I will descend into the world of humans. At any moment now, the opportunity can arise.
