As they remained in each other's arms, Lan Wangji noticed something, making him slowly pull away from the hug. He leaned closer to Wei Wuxian's side and reached for Suibian as he carefully remove the sword from its holder.

"Your sword," he said softly, handing it over to Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian exhaled deeply before accepting the sword. A soft scoff escaped his lips as he examined it, the weight and balance familiar in his hand.
The nostalgic feeling built up, mingling with a tinge of sorrow for the time that had passed. He traced his fingers along the blade, feeling the intricate engravings that he had put there years ago.
"Thank you," he stated, unsheathing the blade. His reflection shimmered on the sword's surface. "It really did seal itself?" he mumbled, astonished.
Curious, Lan Wangji moved closer and tried to unsheathe Wei Wuxian's sword himself. Despite his considerable strength, the sword remained firmly sheathed.
Wei Wuxian sighed deeply, setting the sword down by his side. He glanced around, taking in their surroundings.
"Are we in the Cultivation Chamber?" he asked, prompting Lan Wangji to nod at him.
"Did you take me back to Cloud Recesses? What if your brother finds out?" Wei Wuxian's voice was filled with concern as he looked at Lan Wangji.
"I have found out already." The familiar voice made both of them turn. Lan Xichen stood at the entrance, his presence calm and reassuring.
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian quickly stood up and bowed respectfully to him.

"Sorry to bother you, Zewu Jun," Wei Wuxian said with an apologetic tone.
Lan Xichen smiled warmly at him. "It was I who allowed Wangji to bring you back... Before we get to the bottom of this, Childe Wei, you may live here. As long as I am here, no one will dare to come into Cloud Recesses to search for you." he reassured him.
Wei Wuxian looked at Lan Wangji, who nodded at him. He sighed, his face turning serious. "Zewu Jun, may I ask where is the Red Blade Master's body is?" he inquired.
