Chapter 2

Hello, Sen is back again. This time we get some screen time with Yae Miko and Ei. Time to see how they react to everything. 

Also, Furina is incoming in like 2 days as of writing this so good luck to anyone pulling for her which should be everyone except those who already have her c6 from last time. 

Anyway here is the chapter.

Upon arriving to the Grand Narukami Shrine, Aether and his group went to the back to where they usually found the fox-lady. It didn't take him long to find her. As expected, she turned to greet them as if she knew they were on their way.

"Well hello there, Aether. Fancy seeing you here. Did you come back to see me? I see you also brought some cute company" she teased.

"Uh, technically yes but I do wish it were under better circumstances. We actually have some business here."

"It's still great to see you though!" Paimon cheered.

"Hm, yes. The disturbance from last night has everyone still reeling. Still, if you're here, then I'm afraid to say that neither I nor Ei know of its origin."

"Actually, I already know why it happened," he pointed to the three kids behind him and Ayame walked up.

"Greetings. My name is-"

She was interrupted when the little fox-girl, Hibiki walked up to Yae Miko and hugged her leg.

"Mama," her tail wagged happily while she clung onto Yae's dress.

"Hm? Little girl, I'm not anyone's mother," she picked Hibiki up and felt a strange familiarity coming from her. Said girl was holding her arms out to her while she stared.

"Uh, we can explain but I'd rather Ei be here as well so as to not repeat anything," he said that awkwardly while Yae nodded since she had no reason to doubt him. After informing the others working with her that she would be out for the rest of the day, she brought Aether and the others to where Ei resided.

Being there for the first time, Ayaka was in awe at this new realm, "Aether, where are we?"

Paimon decided to jump in and explain being "Teyvat's best guide" , "This is the Plane of Euthymia. It's where the Raiden Shogun resides."

"The Raiden Shogun? But Her Excellency is in Tenshukaku," Ayaka was confused.

"Oh right. That's actually not the real Raiden Shogun. The real one spends her time in here," Paimon sweat dropped as Ayaka held her head in her hands.

"This is all getting really confusing..."

While she had her crisis, Yae went to call out to Ei, "Pardon the intrusion Ei."

Across the gravel from them, Ei sat floating in the air in a lotus position. While it looked like she was meditating, she was actually reading one of Yae's novels while drinking some dango milk.

"Miko. This is about the disturbance we felt last night? We should- eep!" she froze up seeing Aether there. With a light blush on her cheeks, she put the boo and drink away before recomposing herself. "Aether, it is always a pleasure to see you. You as well, Paimon. Who are the others with you?"

Ei recognized Ayaka was from the Kamisato Family. Ayame as well but the other two kids were mysteries. On one hand was the little, pink fox-girl currently laying on Yae Miko's head with the fox-lady not being as bothered by it as she should be. The other being Hibiki who looked like the spitting image of Ei herself.

Aether was about to explain when Hikari disappeared in a streak of lightning and hugged Ei's side happily, "Mommy!"

"What?"
