DAHYUN POV

The next day dawned radiantly in New York.

Fresh snow covered the city like a white blanket, and the sun shone in the blue sky, creating a fairytale setting.

Vernon and I were at the park, making the most of the snow.

We ran and played like children, throwing snowballs at each other and laughing nonstop.

The joy was contagious, and it was impossible not to feel happy at that moment.

In a moment of slip, Vernon tripped and fell on top of me.

We lay in the snow, rolling around and laughing together.

Our faces were close, warm breath mixing in the cold air.

Suddenly, our eyes met. There was a spark of desire in Vernon's eyes, and I felt my heartbeat quicken.

He leaned in slowly, his lips almost touching mine.

But before we could kiss, his cell phone rang, breaking the magical atmosphere of the moment.

"Go ahead, love," I said, trying to hide my disappointment. "It could be someone from Seventeen."

Vernon hesitated for a moment, looking at me with his deep brown eyes. "Are you sure, love?" he asked, his voice hoarse. "Your face says no."

I smiled, trying to appear indifferent. "You can answer it," I repeated. "Don't worry about that."

Vernon sighed and picked up his cell phone, answering the call.

I watched him as he talked, my heart pounding with a mix of emotions.

I wanted him to keep kissing me, to ignore the phone and give myself over to that moment of passion.

But I also knew it was important for him to answer the call, which could be something urgent.

While Vernon talked, I used that time to admire him.

He was so beautiful, with his brown hair messed up by the snow and his eyes shining with excitement.

I loved him with all my heart, and I knew he was the man of my life.

When the call ended, Vernon apologized to me for the inconvenience. "I'm sorry, love," he said, looking at me with his remorseful eyes. "I didn't want to answer the phone at that moment."

I smiled at him, reassuring him. "It's okay, love," I said. "It was important."

We got up from the snow and hugged each other tightly.

That hug was more than a simple gesture of affection, it was a reaffirmation of our love, a commitment to always be by each other's side, even in the face of challenges.

After the hug, we went back to playing in the snow, laughing and enjoying each other's company.

Vernon's cell phone rang a few more times, but he ignored it, determined not to let anything disturb our moment together.

And so, we spent the entire day in the snow, creating memories that would last forever.

At the end of the day, we were tired but happy.

We knew we had each other, and that was all that mattered.

Next Day 🌁

The next day, as I was having fun sledding with others, enjoying the fresh snow and lively company, Vernon approached with a beaming smile on his face.

"Baby, come here," he said, his eyes shining with excitement. "I have a surprise for you."

I hesitated for a moment, curious about what he might have planned. "Where are we going?" I asked, adjusting my cap and scarf to protect myself from the cold.

"It's a secret," he said with a mischievous smile. "Trust me, you'll love it."

With a gallant gesture, Vernon opened his arms and picked me up, carefully lifting me out of the sled.

He thanked the couple who was with me for looking after me, and together, we headed towards a mysterious destination.

The walk was short, but each step made me more eager to discover Vernon's surprise.

Snow fell around us, creating a magical, white scene.

New York City looked even more beautiful under the white blanket, as if it were in a fairy tale.

Finally, we arrived at our destination. Vernon guided me to a cozy gazebo, covered in snow on all sides.

Soft light emanated from within, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

"We're here," he said, opening the gazebo doors with a grand gesture. "Come in, my love."

I walked in hesitantly, my eyes getting used to the soft light that illuminated the interior.

In the center of the gazebo, there was a table covered with a white tablecloth, and on it, a dream picnic.

There were sandwiches, fruit, cookies, hot chocolate, and even some of my favorite treats.

"Wow, Vernon," I said, impressed with his effort. "This is amazing!"

"I'm glad you liked it," he said, smiling. "I wanted to do something special for you, to celebrate our love."

I sat at the table and Vernon sat next to me.

We started eating, talking and laughing as usual.

The snow was falling outside, creating a magical scene around us.

At that moment, I felt grateful for everything I had: Vernonmy side, our love, and the beauty of life.

As we ate, Vernon looked at me with his deep brown eyes, full of love and admiration. "I love you so much, Dahyun," he said, holding my hand. "You are the woman of my life."

I blushed and smiled at him. "I love you so much too, Vernon," I said, my heart overflowing with happiness.

In that cozy gazebo, surrounded by snow and Vernon's love, I knew I had found my home.

Together, we would build a life full of joy, dreams and achievements.

Snow was falling outside, but inside the gazebo, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, like our love.
