Happy days

"Come home with me, we can celebrate" Asher said walking out of my dressing room with me. "I don't know..what about Liam?" I said. "He's with Alexa, he won't notice anything different. Plus my mums away on a business thing and my little sister will be either sleeping or watching DVDs in bed. Please?" Asher said. "Fine, but I still hate you" I said. "I know, and I hate you too but we done good" he said linking onto my arm.

We sneaked into his house and went up to his room. Asher started searching for a DVD for us to watch while I had a look round his room. I saw pictures so I went over to look at them. I picked up one and it was a picture of a man he looked the spit of Asher. "I'm guessing this is your dad?" I asked. "Mmm...yeah" he said still searching. I saw a picture of Beth and him. "This ones cute" I said picking it up. I didn't like Beth but they seem really happy. And there was one last one. "Is this your mum and little sister?" I said picking it up. "Yeah" he said. "They're both so beautiful." I said. His mum had long blond hair just like Asher's colour and his little sister had dark hair probably from Asher's dad. "Found one!" He said. I looked over and saw him holding Cruel Intentions, my favourite film. "I'm in" I said laughing. "Cool lets get comfy" he said putting the DVD in. I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. I turned round and walked towards me. "I said get comfy not sit like you've just met me and I've brought you into my house." He hold of my hand and laid me on the bed. He then walked round the other side and climbed in beside me. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer because his bedroom was freezing. I found myself drifting off.

"That's such a good film" I heard Asher said. "Mmm yeah I know." I said still half asleep. "I was wondering why you wasn't responding to anything I said." He said. "You know me, I don't speak a lot" I said laughing. "Yeah but you laugh a lot" he said as he began tickling me. I squealed and burst out laughing. "Stop please" I just managed to say. "Hmm.. Not so quiet now are we" he said playfully as he carried on tickling. "Stop please" I repeated and this time he did. I still laughed when he stopped but stopped when he was getting closer to me. He was going to kiss me! I wanted to pull away but something was stopping me. He kissed me and I kissed him back.

We were kissing for ages when I stopped before it went too far. "Asher stop" I whispered. "I know we're going to fast" he whispered. "No it's not that, you have a girlfriend Asher, you practically have the perfect life, you don't need me butting in and spoiling it." I said feeling sad. "I don't love her" he said. "Yeah and you don't love me either." I said getting up. "I know I don't, I don't want to be with her but I want to be with you, when were up on the stage singing together. It's magic Lee and you know it is." He said. "I can't- wont ruin your life Asher" I said walking towards the door. "What my 'perfect life'?" He said and I stopped. "Yes your perfect life." I said turning round to face him. "It's not as perfect as it looks you know? When my dad died, my mum she got depressed, she couldn't even hold her own children and tell them that everything was going to be okay, my little sister had no clue that daddy was never coming back. My mum has to work 14hours a day just to keep this house going and that's why I auditioned Lee because I finally want to give my mum that break that she deserves. You think that's 'perfect' for me?" Asher said with tears in his eyes. I had tears in my eyes as well. No one deserves what he had to go through. "I'm sorry Asher" I said walking back over to him. "I didn't know, I didn't know that you had to deal with all that. I'm so sorry." I said. "Look Lee, I don't care about designer shoes and bags and how many different brands of hair products you can get. Beth..Beth's just a mean little cow. I don't care about her" Asher said. "I know, I understand" I said hugging him. "Can you just stay here please?" He said. "Sure" I said cuddling into him. "But you need to realise and figure out your shit okay?" I said. "I know" Asher said kissing my forehead. "Still hate you..." I said. "Hate you too" Asher said and we both fell asleep.

"Asher, Asher you came home for once" I heard a squeaky kinda voice say. I opened my eyes and saw a little girl jumping all over Asher trying to wake him up. "Naomi, go back into bed its sunday" Asher said and I sat up. "Hiya" Naomi said looking at me. "Hi" I said feeling awkward. "Are you my brothers girlfriend?" She asked. I laughed. "No, Beth is. She hasn't met Beth?" I asked a little confused. "Nah, Beth isn't worthy of meeting you is she Naomi?" Asher said sitting up. Naomi scooted herself to the bottom of the bed. "Now I'm not a genius or anything but if 'Beth's' your girlfriend then why is she here?" Naomi said trying to figure it out. "She has a name, Naomi this is Leah. And 'she' is just a friend nosey" Asher said tapping Naomi's nose. She smiled at me and I smiled back. "Go on then, back to bed" Asher said. She jamp off the bed and ran out of Asher's room. "She seems nice" I said laughing. "Yeah she's a bit of a handful" Asher said pulling me back down to lie beside him. "You do realise I need to go home soon right?" I said. "Nah" Asher said and he fell back asleep.

I waited until he was in a deep sleep and I wrote him a note. 'Thanks for letting me stay, see you at rehearsal tonight. L x' and made my way out the house. I walked a few blocks before I came to my street. I walked in the house and tried to make my way up stairs quietly. I thought I succeeded until I was just about to walk into my room. "Where have you been all night?" Liam asked stepping out of his room. "I was with Charlie" I lied. "That's funny cause he was round here last night looking for you." Liam said. "Yeah well I'm gonna- yeah" I said rushing into my room. I sat on the edge of my bed and stripped down to my bra and underwear and climbed into bed. It was nice and warm in my room but I still would rather be in bed with Asher but I just don't want to make things complicated with him and me. We should just be strictly business.

I showed up late for rehearsal because I spent ages in the shower thinking. "Late again Leah" Coleen said passing me. "Sorry" I muttered and made my was to my dressing room. I looked through my music as we were going to be told what the category was for Saturday today and i wanted to know what I should pick. "All contestants in the main room please" the speaker thing said from the corner of the room. I slouched but eventually stood up and made my way to the main room. I found a seat next to Asher and sent him a gentle smile and he squeezed my hand. I was nervous for this week because this was the first week a couple was going to get kicked off. "Okay guys, this weeks category is........love!" Paul said, he was the guy judge. I closed my eyes and my brain for a song. When I opened my eyes everyone seemed to do the same. "Okay guys off to your dressing rooms to find a song, remember Friday is the showing of Saturday night." Coleen said. I walked back to my room it before i could walk in I heard Asher's voice. "Hey, I have an idea for our song." He said. "Oh yeah?" I asked. "Yeah ill bring in it in soon" he said disappearing into his dressing room. I done the same and started searching through my songs. I decided on Sara Bareilles song Love Song. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in" I said spinning round on my chair. "Hey, so I brought the songs. We can either do Christina Perri's A thousand years or Hate that I love you by rihanna and Neyo?" He said. "I say a thousand years, we've done tons of Rihanna." I said looking at the sheet. "Deals" he said. "So are you coming over after this or?" Asher said. I looked up at him. "Look Asher, your still with Beth. You need to figure out what your going to do with her first" I said looking down. "Can't we just hang out as friends?" He asked. "It's not though is it? Last time we tried that we ended up kissing. I can't let the happen again." I said. "What if I told you ill try extra hard to control myself?" He said. He gave me puppy dog eyes and I began laughing. "Fine, but if you 'don't control yourself' then there will be consequences." I said laughing. "Mmm...sounds fun. I gotta go grab my stuff, I'll be back in 5" Asher said waking towards the door. "Hate ya!" He said. "Hate you too" I said laughing.

We walked into Asher's and he let go of my hand. "Naomi, film time!" He shouted and she came running down the stairs and collapsed on the sofa. I sat beside Asher and Naomi picked out 'Finding Nemo' which was also one of my favourite films. I yawned and fell asleep on Asher's lap with a smile on my face..
