the unexpected fourth child

chapter 1

Lucas pov:

I was walking to this memorial clinic to hopefully get a cast for my sprained ankle. I was just hoping it was sprained only, so I didn't have to worry about anything else.

I walked for about 20 minutes till I arrived and I walked up to two ladies sitting down "hey um I think I sprained my ankle and was hoping to get it checked out by someone" the blonde lady looked at me and smiled then held out a clipboard so I took it then the lady said something "fill this out for us then we will get you help as soon as possible"

I nodded then limped off to a seat and sat down then started to fill out the papers I was given. After awhile I finished and gave it back to the two girls then sat back down and just waited for my name to be called I guess

After a couple minutes a blonde woman walked up to me and I looked up and read her name "captain deluca-bishop? Do I have to call you that or can I use the first name?" She just looked at me then she spoke "come on and yes it's Maya but you can call me bishop"

We walked to a room thing that they had set up and I sat down then took my shoe and sock off on my right leg so she could look at it. I watched her get gloves on before looking at my ankle then she looked at me and started talking "you just sprained it so I'll go get you a brace for this to keep it stable for you I'll be right back" I nodded and she walked off

After a few minutes another doctor came in and I looked confused "who are you?" She smiled and spoke "Dr. Carina deluca-bishop I have your brace my wife asked me to give it to you because she had to go" I nodded and smiled "thanks I can put it on"

She walked over to me and set the brace down "so where are you living only homeless people come here" I looked at her and said nothing " why do you care?" She frowned a little and I thought I fucked up "your 16 you shouldn't be on the streets no kid should also how did you sprain your ankle" I sighed and smiled softly "I was running from some bullies it's fine"

She looked at me a little concerned "any other injuries?" I nodded and looked down and she spoke again "mind if I check I can close this so no one sees" I nodded again "please close it" she walked to the little opening and closed the gate thing they had then walked back to me and I just took my shirt off "bruises and a couple cuts from the fall and being beat up"

She looked even more concerned then Maya walked in and looked concerned too "I'm fine why do you too look worried" they looked at each other then back at me and carina spoke "I'll clean up the cuts and get something for the bruises while Maya puts the brace on. I smiled at the fact they didn't question anything and just started to help me and after they had finished I left hoping to never come back here again

A/N: most chapters won't be this long but it's the first so it's longer then most, also most chapters will be 200 to 300 words sometimes more if needed but that's it also from this point on there will be Cliff hangers sometimes

I hope this chapter was good I'm not the best at writing so sorry if it's bad
