the unexpected fourth child

chapter 2

Lucas pov:

I was limping back to my home that I had been making since I was 13 and thanks to some adults I was able to make a stable one enough for the rain obviously but the heat always sucked and once I got back Derek was there

"Hey Lucas, where were you?" He asked me concerned and I looked at him then shrugged not really wanting to talk

"At the dean memorial clinic I needed help so I went" I smiled at him softly and just laid down next to him and he kissed my cheek before getting up

"You need to be careful at places like that lucas remember that please I don't need someone else taken from me" he frowned and I looked down then back up at him

"Okay I promise I'll be careful" I smiled at him softly hoping it would comfort him a little "hey Derek I love you"

He looked at me softly not as sad as before "I love you too Lucas, so don't die on me okay and stop getting in fights" he then walked out as i chuckled

After awhile I fell asleep just thinking about the two girls at the clinic and how they didn't question anything they just helped it was very not doctor-like and I really enjoyed that but I doubt anyone here would wanna hear that so I just thought to not say anything

Hours later I was woken up but some guy who kinda looked like one of the girls from the clinic "um hey?" He just looked at me then left and I sighed then got up and packed my things then left running off till I heard Derek screaming for help and I ran back pushing the person off of him and grabbing his hand and running off while he grabbed his bag

"Where are we going?" He asked worried, as we saw the place go up in flames. I looked at him and sighed then kept pulling him to the fire station "you know they were trying to help right I saw the one who started the fire it wasn't them"

I looked at him and sighed angrily "Derek I don't care, someone put their hands on you so I'm taking you somewhere safe" he looked up to see the station and I pulled him into the entrance where we ran into someone

"Um hey I'm Lucas I was here earlier from the clinic I think I messed up my leg again is there a captain deluca-bishop here?" The guy just looked at us then nodded and called on his phone

"Um wait here she should be out soon just" the alarm went off and I knew exactly where they were going already and it sucked I just lost the only home I ever had but at least the captain came out

"Um hey? I got to run Ill text my wife to come help she doesn't have work for the next two days then I'll come by and help" she smiled softly and I just nodded then she ran off

A/N: cliffhanger ish anyways I just thought that I should at least write something for the day so here it is (this is awful writing sorry everyone)
