"You're late," Ji-ji spoke when he heard his sister coming up the stairs.

"Ran into Ho-sang," Sung-hyo replied. "Eun-yu's currently learning the same lesson I did 6 months ago."

"You want me to go talk to him?" Ji-ji offered.

"Knowing Eun-yu, she'll find a way out," Sung-hyo pointed out. "That or Ha-ni will just let them out when Ho-sang goes to get food."

"Ah-yi stopped by earlier," Ji-ji suddenly revealed, catching the teenager's attention. "Wanted to see you. She had another falling out with her mother."

Sung-hyo sighed, "I know where she'll be. She likes to go to that flower shop whenever she wants to be alone. I'll go check on her in a little bit."

"Do you think she ran into some more people again?" Ji-ji asked.

Since turning her attackers into monsters, Yi-kyung set Ah-yi many extreme rules. Wear gloves to constrict your powers, don't run off without my knowledge, don't use your powers on strangers, etc.

Whenever Ah-yi would have a falling out with her mother or wanted to see her other family, she'd go to the hotel that Ji-ji, Hyun-su and Sung-hyo occupied... more than their other bases.

In actuality, the trio had around four different areas in the city that they'd made their own. A shopping mall, a tiny garage where they kept the army jeep they'd taken, the hotel they were currently staying at and the boat in which Yi-kyung and Ah-yi lived.

"More than likely," Sung-hyo answered her brother's theory. "Yi-kyung doesn't get mad at her over anything else."

"You can't blame either of them, though," Ji-ji sighed. "They're both in different shoes. Yi-kyung has a child who has powers even she knows are dangerous..."

"And Ah-yi thinks all humans are out to kill her," Sung-hyo agreed. "The only nice people she's seen are you and me. That's it. Yi-kyung is both of those people. She wants to protect Ah-yi, but she's military and has a child with inhumane abilities. She doesn't know what to do."

"Are you saying we start helping again?" Ji-ji asked.

"I'm saying maybe we need to start remembering that it isn't just us out there," Sung-hyo corrected, then let out a small sigh. "What I'm about to tell you... only Hyun-su has told me. You can't tell anyone just yet."

"Yet?" Ji-ji repeated.

"Remember when Hyun-su was inside that military research facility?" Sung-hyo started, to which Ji-ji nodded. "He told me that he was given a lot of tests, along with being confronted by other monsters the facility owned. Hyun-su did something to one of them..."

Just as Sung-hyo had expected, Ha-ni let Eun-yu out once Ho-sang left to find supplies.

Eun-yu found herself at a passageway with a giant hole in the ground. It was massive, almost the size of a building that had maybe once stood there. And it caught Eun-yu's attention. She cautiously approached it, trying to see if she could see the bottom of the hole... maybe see whatever was making that growling noise.

"He won't attack you."

Eun-yu's head turned to where the voice came from. Ah-yi was standing at the entrance of an abandoned flower shop. She began to slowly trudge across what was left of the road and towards Eun-yu as the latter spoke slowly, "I'm looking for Yi-kyung. You know where she is, don't you? I need to see her. Or Sung-hyo, one of them."
