Aaron strolled across campus, basking in the warm sunlight and the gentle rustle of leaves beneath his feet . It was his last year of college, and life was treating him kindly. Aaron just finished from English class but immediately his two friends, Brad and Charlie messaged him to meet up with them so they can all have fun together .
Brad was a gentle giant, standing tall at 6 feet with a sturdy build that commanded respect without intimidation. His porcelain skin seemed to glow with a soft, warm light, and his long, brown hair, often tied up in a messy bun, added a touch of laid-back charm to his demeanour. While he may not have been a genius, Brad's average intelligence was more than made up for by his kind heart and genuine desire to help others. There was an air of quiet mystery surrounding him, as if he was hiding a secret from Aaron , but it only added a mysterious appeal to his character . Despite this, Brad's passion for teaching shone through, and he had a natural talent for connecting with people of all ages. His calm, patient nature made him an excellent listener, and those around him felt at ease in his presence. As he went about his day, Brad exuded a sense of quiet confidence, as if he knew exactly where he was headed and was determined to make a positive impact along the way.
Charlie stood at 5 feet 7 inches, with a slender build, he had a too confident demeanour. He carried himself with an air of assurance, often coming across as uptight or even a bit stiff, always thinking he is right . Despite this, Aaron knew there was an undeniable sense that Charlie was hiding something, a secret , maybe Brad and Charlie was hiding the same secret. Born into a well-connected family, Charlie was deeply loved and supported by his relatives, who encouraged him to pursue his dreams. And pursue them he did, with a determination that was admirable, even if his intellectual abilities didn't quite match his ambition. Charlie's academic performance was unremarkably low , but he makes up for it with his kind heart and genuine concern for his friends. He may not have been the sharpest tool in the shed, but Charlie's good intentions and loyalty to those for his friends.
His friends, alively bunch, often gathered at the local café, swapping stories and laughterover steaming cups of coffee or tea or anything they wanted to drink on that day .They sometimes ordered food .This afternoon, as they lounged in their favourite corner, the conversation turned to Soulmates, the latest dating app Soulmates .
"You have to try it, Aaron!" his friends chimed in unison. "It's like magic – everyone's finding their perfect match!"
Aaron raised an eyebrow, skeptical but intrigued. "I'll think about it," he said with a smile, not wanting to disappoint his friends.
As the day drew to a close, Aaron decided to take a leisurely walk to exit the college. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of chirping birds accompanied him like a gentle melody. As he turned a corner, he noticed a young man, Jackson, struggling to carry a load of books and bags. In a split second, Jackson's arms gave way, and his belongings went tumbling to the ground.
Without hesitation, Aaron rushed to help, and together they gathered the scattered items. As they stood up, their eyes met, and Aaron felt a spark of connection, which made Aaron unsettled . Jackson's bright smile and warm gaze put him at ease, and they exchanged a few pleasantries.
"I'm Aaron," he said, extending his hand.
"Jackson," the other replied, his handshake firm and friendly. "Thanks for the helping me back there. I owe you one."
As they parted ways, Aaron felt a sense of serendipity. "Maybe I'll see you around?" he suggested, hoping to run into Jackson again.
Jackson's eyes crinkled at the corners. "I'd like that. Take care, Aaron. Until next time."
With a wave, they went their separate ways, leaving Aaron to ponder the unexpected encounter. As he walks to bus stop, he couldn't shake off the feeling that his life was about to take an exciting turn. Little did he know, Soulmates was waiting in the wings, ready to weave its infection on him and bring him and Jackson together once more, somehow.
Aaron replays the moment he had with Jackson in his head . Aaron said to himself "hasn't this script been done before ". Aaron starts Remembering a movie that made Aaron feel like he is having Deja vu , the common romantic stereotype where the girl drops her books and the guy helps the girl and they fall in love .Aaron thinks to himself "I haven't even downloaded the app yet" . "Jackson seems like a cool person I'm gunna hang out with him and be friends with him, I don't think me and him would ever like each other in that way".
Aaron thinks about his future ,thinking does he have someone out there who would love him for him,his true self. Aaron is not like everyone else, he has secrets he doesn't even know about . Aaron doesn't feel sexual or romantic attraction.
Aaron sometimes believes he is mistake and doesn't understand logically why he is like this.At 4:00 Aaron gets on the double decker bus to head home . he sits at the back of the bus and ponders and starts to sing .

My heart and mind is not ready, it's not the time
I'm still figuring out, what's on my mind
I see the way you look at me, it's sweet
But I'm not ready, to take the leapChorus:
Not yet, but maybe someday
I'll find my way, to love in every way
Not yet, but I'll try
To open up, and let you in, and see whyOutro:
I know you're waiting, I know you're true
And I'll get there, I'll get to you
Just give me time, to find my way
And maybe someday, I'll love you, every day.
