As Aaron hastily boarded the bus, he swiped his card with a sense of urgency, his mind preoccupied with the looming threat of tardiness. The doors closed behind him, and he stepped into the bustling atmosphere of the bus, his eyes scanning the crowded seats for a vacant spot. That's when he noticed him - the enigmatic figure sitting at the back of the bus, occupying the middle seat with an air of quiet confidence. The "King of the Bus," as Aaron would later come to know him, was a man who commanded attention without effort.

Rebel Woods, with his raven-black hair cascading down his back, piercing black-brown eyes, and an imposing physique, exuded an aura of mystique. His body was a canvas of vibrant tattoos, a testament to his free-spirited nature. The red and white electronic guitar resting against his legs seemed to be an extension of his being, a symbol of his creative energy. As Aaron attempted to blend into the background, Rebel's gaze locked onto him, piercing through the crowd like a beacon.

The bus fell silent, with all eyes fixed on Rebel, and by extension, Aaron. The unspoken question hung in the air: who was this person who had captured the attention of the bus's reigning monarch? Aaron, sensing the weight of Rebel's stare, knew he had to reciprocate or risk being perceived as intimidated. With a deep breath, he met Rebel's gaze, his heart pounding in his chest. The air was electric, heavy with tension, as the two strangers engaged in a silent standoff, each waiting for the other to make the next move.

As the bus rumbled to a halt, the driver's voice echoed through the speakers, announcing the final stop. The chatter among the passengers resumed, and the doors swung open with a hiss. Ordinarily, the "King of the Bus" would be the first to disembark, but Aaron, oblivious to this unspoken rule, made his way to the exit without hesitation. The other passengers exchanged surprised glances, but Rebel Woods remained unfazed, his eyes fixed on Aaron with an air of intrigue. He sensed that Aaron was an enigma, his "heart's melody" unlike anyone else's. As Aaron rushed out of the bus, he spotted Jackson.Aaron's sense of smell suddenly became incredibly acute. He could detect the faintest scents, from the sweet aroma of blooming flowers to the pungent smell of exhaust fumes. His nose twitched uncontrollably, as if it had a mind of its own. Overwhelmed by the onslaught of odors, Aaron snapped out of his daze and decided to take action. hurrying towards the college and called out, "Wait up for me!" Rebel's eyes narrowed, wondering how Aaron knew Jackson, but his curiosity was short-lived. Aaron and Jackson greeted each other warmly, chatting like old friends, their camaraderie drawing no attention from the crowd, largely due to Jackson's reputation as a recluse.

As Aaron caught up with Jackson, he inquired about his schedule for the day. Jackson paused, mentally reviewing his commitments, before responding, "I've got football club, physics, and math today. What about you, Aaron?" Aaron replied, "Just chemistry for me." Just then, the college's public address system crackled to life, and a high-pitched female voice echoed through the corridors, "Attention students, this is an important announcement. The company behind the popular app, Senses, will be hosting a presentation for the entire day today and tomorrow. We encourage all students to attend and enjoy the event and activities on the display. Please note that all classes and club activities are canceled for the next two days." The announcement concluded with a reminder to stay alert for further updates. Jackson turned to Aaron with a grin, "Looks like we've got a free pass. Want to hang out?"

As Aaron and Jackson continued to enjoy their impromptu day off, they participated in various activities, laughing and joking together. Meanwhile, Lucas caught sight of Jackson, but his gaze passed over Aaron, failing to register his presence. Aaron's phone buzzed with an incoming message from Charlie, requesting a meetup. Aaron responded, "Hey, I'm hanging out with someone right now. Can we catch up later today?" Charlie's swift reply was curt: "Whatever." Charlie's thoughts turned skeptical, convinced that Aaron was fabricating an excuse, as he believed Aaron's social circle was limited to himself and Brad. Jackson, needing to use the restroom, instructed Aaron to meet him at the presentation venue. Aaron asked for Jackson's phone number to stay in touch, and Jackson hastily provided it before rushing off. As Aaron waited, Logan appeared, his eyes scanning the area, wondering who Jackson had been chatting with.
