Esme stirred in her sleep on the couch. She was all wrapped up and lounging across it. She heard voices, she couldn't make out what they said. She yawned as Sharlotte and Taylor walked back into the living room.
"Well, morning there sleepy-head!" Taylor said as she pounced on Esme. Shar couldn't help herself and giggled softly at the two girls.
"Good morning you two." Esme smiled as she rubbed sleep from her eyes. "So do you have anything planned for today? I would hate to impose." She sat up on the couch, letting the blanket fall to her lap.
Shar walked over and sat beside her. She looked at Taylor for the answer. They did these types of weekends often and never really had a plan.
Taylor smiled and took her cue. She walked in front of the girls to deliver her dramatic plan. "Does the mall work?" She grinned wider, revealing her fangs. It had been a trap.
"That sounds great." Esme said as she scooted closer to the edge of her seat in excitement.
Taylor's eyes darted to Shar. "Sure, if you want to." Shar's voice gave her away, at least to Taylor. She hated the mall. And the people there always made it worse. She couldn't imagine the gawking that would happen now with her transformation. But, she did want to see her two favorite people happy.
"We can go to the coffee shop." Taylor's voice was sly and tempting. She knew that was the one thing Shar could not, would not, resist. It would lock in a fun trip without too much argument from the demoness.
"Well, only if you're buying." Shar said playfully as she stood up.
"YAY!" Taylor danced around. "Get dressed, Esme!" Taylor posed like a superhero before she ran off to a back room to change her outfit.
Esme got up and stretched. Shar's eyes lingered on Esme. Her body was thin and trim, but there was a magic to how she moved. "You can go change in the bathroom if you like. Taylor's in the guest bedroom, so no worries." A soft smile graced her face, it reached into her eyes. Shar couldn't stop herself when the angel was near.
"Thanks." Esme said softly as she made her way down the hall to the bathroom, her bag in her hand.
Taylor came bounding down the hallway. She was now in some sort of a purple top. Shar wasn't sure you could even call it that let alone were it out in public. Taylor moved well in her jeans. The flair bottoms danced with her. She also managed to get her ear chains in today. Spiked bracelets and a collar continued the punk look.
"Hot date?" Shar said as she looked Taylor up and down her eyes lingering a moment on a new navel piercing.
Taylor just giggled. "Just you two hot things." She winked.
"Well, I'm ready." Esme's voice carried down the hall. No matter what clothes she put on, she looked like a goddess. Her tight black jeans had holes in the knees and the sides were held together by safety pins. A black hoodie fitted her form perfectly. Her chain leading from her belt to her wallet rattled as she walked. Shar looked at her in awe. Her eyes had a longing look in them.
"Good let's go then." Shar had changed earlier that morning before she stepped out onto the patio into a pair of TRIPP pants as well as a black t-shirt with roses on it.
"Oh, can I drive!? Please..." Taylor wined at Sharlotte.
Shar grinned at her and patted her head softly. "No way in hell kitten, my jeep." Shar pulled her keys from off the hook and put them safely into her pocket. Esme giggled in the background. The girls walked out to the jeep. Its red paint sparkled in the summer light. "Taylor, help me pull the top off real quick, will ya?" Taylor smiled and went to work undoing the clips from the top. They quickly got it off and Taylor happily leapt into the back. Esme took the passenger seat. Shar threw the car into reverse. Shifted quickly into drive and the girls sped off toward the mall.
