This story was approved and set to be included in the game. It likely would have appeared as a book in-game.
After the Caretakers' downfall, their direct descendants helped restore peace. Those descendants became known as the Grand Entities by the future generations, out of respect for their sacrifices, including driving their non-sentient siblings out of Citadel, where they rampaged through the tiled buildings. Rabid with the new energy gained from the defeat of the Caretakers, they tore holes in the unraveling universe, and fought harshly against their siblings. After few losses on either side, the Grand Entities managed to get all the non-sentient entities, nicknamed "creatures", out of Citadel and into the surrounding districts. They haven't ventured out in recorded history since then, save for a few tries immediately after their banishment.
The sentient entities of today, sometimes referred to as "characters", live almost entirely in Citadel, some running shops, farms, or workshops. There are no governments or laws to live by, simply that anyone can purchase anything they like, and are fed and given water by the automatic farms in the Citadel outskirts. At the age of approximately twenty years, any character may form relationships or have children. The average entity lives to seventy.
Commentary
This is probably as good a place as any to note that most of these were written somewhere between 9:30pm and 7am.
The rest of the stories take place some time after these first two texts. You can probably guess that the more aggressive entities were added to have some enemies in this game, but I think they fit the story nicely. Also, just wanna give credit again to the creator of this project, who apparently had the story in his head for a couple years before it was written down.
