I put on my favorite dress and put Eli in favorite shirt as we wait for Elliott to take us to dinner for our three month anniversary.
He gets there and checks is into a really pretty restaurant, "Elliot you did not have to this. This is so, pretty we would've been okay with a small restaurant like McDonald's or something else."
He shushes me and smiles, "I'm doing this and you are going to like it. Now, shush up and enjoy it."
I laugh and we sit at a table, eat, talk and Eli absolutely devours a piece a cake.
I'm completely shocked when, Elliott does this, "I was in love with you the moment I saw you. It took me six months to ask you out and that date was the most amazing date I'd been on. I left you once, and that was my biggest mistake and it will never happen again. I suspected and hoped that Eli was my son and I'm so, glad he is. It's another reason to fall even deeper in love with you. Another reason to ask you to be my wife. Dakota Alexandria Howe will you make the happiest man alive and marry me?"
I nod and start crying, "Yes. Eli mommy is getting married."
Eli smiles and says through a mouthful of breadsticks, "Congratuations."
We both laugh and hug him, "Thank you, son."
