"We got to curb her trips to the dump. " a man said. "And where is she getting the hair to play dress-up with them? Creepy..."
He tosses his glass onto the tray, leaving a blue disassembly drone hedgehog catches it, without dropping any dishes and walks off. He stops to make a view out of a window as the cacophonous storm continues raging. Continuing his walk, he looks around some more as he collides with another one, but it was pink and wearing a maid's outfit.
The collision causes the blue one to drop the platter and the dishes fall to the floor.
"OH! I'm so sorry!" the male said.
"I-It's okay! I wasn't looking." the female shyly said.
Their hands touch and a spark emits. They blush and stare in curiosity as the blue disassembly drone was about to speak, he was kicked to the side by a black one with red stripes.
"Move it, moro-" the black disassembly drone trails off when he noticed someone. "Hi, Maria!" he then noticed another drone behind the human. "...Oh, no. Another one?"
*Present*
Serial Designation C woke up from his rest and falls to the ground.
"Guys, I found something in here!" he heard Nine said.
Inside the Corpse House, the adopted brothers were inspecting their new finding: a symbol consisting of a skull with a cap and wings. Sonic stared at his reflection in a mirror, which breaks.
'What the?!' he thought to himself.
"That's weird and concerning." Rusty said, who was chained to a chair.
Nine growls when he turns to her. "Bite me! This is probably you weirdo's fault!"
"I've never seen that symbol before. Wanna do an autopsy to find out?"
They glare at each other, just when Tails and Knuckles dragged Nine out of glaring at Rusty.
C then appeared after he heard the others. "What'd you find?"
Tails then holds up the cap. "Did you know that was a pilot hat?"
"I was the pilot? That's awesome!" he then gave a horrified expression. "I crashed and ruined everything..." he then gave a normal expression. "Spaceship Pilot: Origin Story."
Rusty hisses, then calms herself by blowing bubbles out of a bubble blower.
" ...Speaking of piloting to Earth, we sure 'murder all humans' is, uh, morality?" C questioned.
"The humans sent you without a communication relay and reformatted your memories to soup." Nine said, but he didn't get a response, but Sonic just glared at him, knowing Nine will be in serious trouble. "Covering their tracks means their past negotiating. Not like tried negotiating with Sonic's dad..."
"Or you missed the negotiations! The humans programmed us to solve a problem. Where's proof of your backstory? The one where your kind's so conveniently innocent?" Rusty chuckled.
Nine glared at her again, but C, not wanting another fight to break out, gently pulls him out of the way.
"Shadow was getting orders from someone." the disassembly drone blue hedgehog said. "If not the company through that relay, then, uh, who? And how?"
Nine pouted. "Quit complicating my murder plan."
C tries to comfort him by gently patting him on the head, but Nine brushes his hand away.
