15. Doctor

"Tum yahan kya kr rahe ho?" Ahzam asked. Azlan's best friend son of Aarez who was best friends with Azar (Azaina's dad).

"Azaina ki doctor se meeting hai." Azlan replied.

"Azaina hai?" He asked shocked.

"Han hai." Aahil replied and he narrated the whole story.

"Toh kab milwa rahe ho mujhse?" He asked.

"Jald hi." Azlan replied.

"Is she the same little girl I know." He asked fondly as memories resurfaced his mind.

"More naughty and bratty." Aahil said with a chuckle making them laugh.

"Chup ho jao dono, call aa Rahi hai." Azlan said when his laptop ringed and they both nodded.

"Hello Doctor." Azlan greeted.

"Hello Mr Ahmad." The doctor said.

"This is my brother who is also a doctor and will interact with you." Azlan said as Aahil took over.

"Dr Aahil Ahmad." Aahil greeted and the doctor nodded.

"Look firstly I would like you to tell you that Azaina's reports had been sent to you, might have reached also." He said and they nodded.

"Secondly I wanted to tell you that Azaina is a child who needs attention. She is suffering from asthma not that critical but a mild one however I recommend an inhaler to be kept always. The next thing is that she eats lot of unhealthy stuff and that affects her liver. She's underweight too and Her few shots hasn't been done so that needs to be done asap. She needs to take certain pills and the reason I have send you with her medical reports and that's all." He said and Aahil nodded.

"Doctor was Azaina taking any sleeping pills?" Aahil asked.

"Not that I am aware of." He replied making them frown.

"Lastly I wanted to tell you something confidential but it puts my ethics at risk." The doctor said making them confused.

"I would like to know if it concerns Azaina's health." Azlan chimed in with his deep voice making the doctor gulp.

"Azaina needs to go into a surgery of her heart as it has a hole in it." The doctor said making them shocked.

"Okay." Aahil said and he discussed everything related to her health. After a few minutes they were done.

On the other hand Azaina was back from school and the maid told her that her stuff had arrived and is kept in her room. She went there and got ready. She straight away went to the lounge and started watching tv.

When Azlan and Aahil got back from work, they found her deeply engrossed in tv.

"Lunch Kiya Azu." Azlan asked and she shook her head.

"Homework kiya?" Aahil asked sitting next to her.

"Kya yaar sukoon se tv dekhne dein." She replied annoyed.

"Jabse school se aai ho dekh rahi ho, ab bhi dekhna hai?" Azlan asked raising his eyebrows.

"Toh kya krun bhaiya aapne phone le liya na." She complained cutely.

"Aapka screentime kam Karne ke liye liya tha lekin ab lelo aap but." He couldn't complete as she jumped on him, hugging the daylight's out of him.

"Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou." She kept chanting taking the phone from him.

"Azu Lekin Aapka screentime 2 hours hai bas." He said and she nodded absentmindedly.

"Bhaiya aapi saath jaana hai na?" She asked and he shook his head.
