~(P.O.V - (Y/n))~

The sounds of shoes tapping against concrete fill my ears as I rapidly tap my foot, bored and sitting at the empty dining room table 'This talisman... I'm still not accustomed to it and I've messed around with my Shikigami a bit earlier.' I pull the talisman from my pocket, making sure to be careful with it 

The entrance of the underground base opens and Yuji walks in, waving at me "Yo! Figured you'd be here." He scanned the room briefly "Looks a lot cleaner. You did something?" He asked

I nodded my head leaning back against my chair "Yeah, this place is pretty chill. Decided I'd make it my own home. You're welcome to join as well."

"Nah, I like the dorms they gave us. Though, I hope you don't mind me dropping by for dinner." Yuji stated, making his way to the chair that sat across the table from me

I watched as he sat down, stretching my arms "Of course not. I like cooking for people."

"If you don't mind... We should spar." Yuji said suddenly "Though you seem a bit pale so you can refuse."

I raise an eyebrow, looking at him in confusion "Sure? I had to drain a decent bit of blood for a new project I'm working on. Shoko restored a decent portion of it but she was too tired to do the rest."

"Oh?" Yuji said, intrigued "A project that caused you to lose blood... I wonder what that could be?"

"We can use the passageways to get to one of the training grounds. I looked over the map Gojo sensei provided. Think you went through them before meeting up with Nanami?" I said, slowly propping myself up from the seat

Yuji mulls for a moment before shrugging abruptly "Oh well, lead the way! Remember, light sparing."

"Yeah yeah." I retort, rolling my eyes

"Alright. We're going for knockdowns and no shots over the collar." Yuji explained as we stood across from each other in a room with multiple pillars placed around it "Best of three, alright?"

"Alright." I responded, throwing a couple of punches as I hopped in place "Ready when you are."

"Then start!" Yuji shouted, rushing in without hesitation

My eyes widen briefly as I'm forced to duck under a quick jab 'Yuji has an edge over me when it comes to strength and my usual speed advantage is nerfed due to my lack of blood.' I cross my arms, using them to deflect a kick sent to my side causing me to fly back

I land lightly, staring Yuji down 'He's unnaturally good at fighting so it might be a bit hard but...' I shifted myself into a more solid stance and caught him in a deadlock the moment he rushed forward 'I can still work on predicting my opponent's next move!'

Before he could capitalize on the up-close encounter I fling him over my body, using his momentum against him 'First round goes to me!' My grin fades as he flips mid-air, landing on his feet

Yuji cracked his neck, grinning at me "Almost had me there!"

"Yeah." I responded dryly as a droplet of cold sweat trickled down the side of my face "What brought this spar on?"

Yuji rubbed his nape, sheepishly staring at me "Back during the event, Todo said that it was as if I was cooking without knowing what each ingredient did to the final product. Landing a black flash taught me a bunch when it comes to cursed energy. Was hoping I could get you to do it as well."
