'Hmm....' I hummed mentally as I stared at the trees in front of me, lightly tapping my forehead as the bugs chattered loudly 'I could work well with anyone from Tokyo. The problem is more personal... Kugisaki... I don't really like her. I don't even want to work with her.' I close my eyes and sigh

"Hey, you good?" I hear Yuji say from behind me, prompting me to peer over my shoulder

"Yeah. Just thinking." My gaze trails towards the megaphones fitted onto the trees above 'I haven't been able to sleep recently. My nightmares have doubled since... then... Junpei... That Sukuna..!' I douse the mental fire of anxiety and anger and put it out 'I'm too tired. Who knows how well those Kyoto students would fare against me as I am.'

"Yo! We'll be starting soon. Right after a few words of encouragement from none other than Iori Utahime herself!" I hear Gojo say from the megaphones

"HUH!?" Miss Utahime shouted, presumably from shock "Um. some degree of injury will be unavoidable, but, um... now and then, help each other out... or something..." 

I roll my eyes, checking my blades briefly 'Definitely from shock. Gojo sensei must either hate her or be somewhat friends with her.'

"Time's up! Now, let the sister school exchange event..." Gojo said, drowning Utahime's complaints in the background out

I crouch low, prepared to keep up with the group 'Follow the plan... Jump the one that looks like a brutish ape with Yuji... Oh, wait. Surprise attack the ape instead. Right!'

Gojo's pause comes to an end "BEGIN!"

With that we rush deep into the forest, my gaze set dead ahead no thoughts of loss entered my mind 

"Where do you think the cursed spirit boss is?" Yuji asked Panda as he ran beside him

I shifted my head slightly, making sure I could hear Panda as he spoke "It was probably unleashed halfway between us and the others. It's not gonna sit still though."

Maki, who was close behind the two, began to explain the plan a bit more to Yuji "At the time we agreed upon, we'll split into the Megumi squad and the Panda squad for scouting. We'll be counting on You and your brother after that, Yuji."

I kept an eye out, running slightly ahead of Panda though halfway between him and Megumi's dog, and heard Yuji shout in agreement with the plan

The dog barked loudly as a red spider curse hung from its web in our path yet I skidded to a halt the moment I saw the dog look slightly to the right 'Someone's here already?! Alright, stun them and keep running.'

The brute who I assume is Todo, burst straight out of the tree beside the curse. Ending it "Great! You're all here! Come at me all together!"

Taking the initiative, I rush him head on getting a firm grasp of his neck and slamming him into the ground.

"Scatter!" Maki shouted before running off to my left

I quickly look behind me, nodding to my brother "Yuji!"

"Right!" He said in response, getting close enough to allow me to exit the fight temporarily

I dart down the path I saw Maki and Megumi go down, catching up to them rather quickly "I'll follow you guys for a moment before turning back."

"Alright." Maki said "Todo is alone. Perfect for you and your brother to get him out of the way. Leave the rest of them to us."

I grin and shake my head "Will do!"
