Yo! Think this chapter should be the last "Light" setup chapter. After this, we'll be getting into the beef and potatoes of this arc.

"Now arriving in Kyoto!"

Yuji's eyes snapped open as he brought himself off the train's seat, 'Guess it's time to call Todo up. I'll be here for a few days.'

As tons of people poured out of the train all looking eager to explore the vast city of Kyoto, Yuji followed suit, equally excited as the rest.

His phone rang for a few seconds before Todo answered "Yo, Brother!"

"Todo, guess who just arrived in Kyoto! Now we can both listen to Takada's new release!"

"NICEU!" Todo shouted, forcing Yuji to bring his phone away from his ringing ears "Is brother (Y/n) there with you?"

Yuji sighed, there wasn't much he could say as to what his brother was doing but recently, it felt as if he had forgotten about them all "Nah, he's down in Nara city doing some sort of investigation."

"Nara city? That place isn't too far away. What's going on down there?" Todo asked, humming in thought

"Not too sure myself." Yuji began, glancing at the crowd around him before deciding to whisper "Think there's some sort of cult activity going on. I'll tell you more in private."

"Fascinating..." Todo trailed off, noting mentally how far his brothers had gotten "(Y/n)'s dealing with all that alone? He's gotten far stronger than expected. In such little time as well."

Yuji frowned, making his way to the exit of the train station "Unfortunately, yes, he's alone."

"It's completely natural to worry about our brother, but we must have complete faith in him. Because if we don't then who will?"  Todo's words helped Yuji a bit but despite everything, he still couldn't help but feel unsure

"Maybe you're right... Just feels like he's trying to leave everyone behind. If he does that then who'll be there when he needs it the most?"

"He'd never leave everyone behind. The only reason he's doing this stuff is so nobody else has to go out and get hurt. The only way to stop that is by proving to him you're stronger than him, or at least that you're strong enough to fight your own battles."

Yuji remained silent, 'Stronger than him? I don't care to be the strongest but if it's to make him open back up then I'll try my best.'

To Yuji's shock, a hand landed roughly on his shoulder, and furthering his shock, the owner of the hand was Todo "Anyways, let's get going. I heard that you and Megumi have been training quite hard. I'll help you as much as possible... After listening to Takada-chan of course."

~(P.O.V - (Y/n)~

Well, they say the fastest way to uncover something you aren't supposed to, is by being in the places you also aren't supposed to be in...

I don't know if anyone's ever said that but it's common sense I think.

So here I am, sneaking into a shrine far before its opening times, hopefully not messing my karma up.

I, admittedly, am not sensing anything too crazy, yet I'm sensing something so perfectly ordinary it's suspicious. What I mean is, that the trail of cursed energy that non-sorcerers emit passively is random and chaotic.

This... Monk? I'm watching is emitting a perfect, imitation of that. Too perfect of course. However, I'm not sure if religions can affect cursed energy. How are people like Gojo and Sukuna regarded as the strongest in history?
