Scott's POV:
The next morning I wake up early to the sound of someone throwing up.I come to my senses and remember Ella. The girl from last night.I hop out of bed and walk out of my room to see Mitch already helping her to the bathroom. She had enough sense to throw up in the trash can, so at least we don't have to clean up any puke from the floor or rug.I go to the fridge and take out a Gatorade for her. She'll need it. I've experienced plenty of hangovers. After ten solid minutes of straight up vomiting, Mitch comes back out of the bathroom with Ella, looking even weaker than last night. I offer the Gatorade to her, and she gratefully takes it.Mitch leads her back to the couch, and she lays back down on her back, holding the cold bottle of Gatorade against her forehead. She closes her eyes, and I can tell she's been through some rough times. She just has that look to her.Frail, broken, hurt. All of a sudden I just want to pull her into a hug and not let go. Which is weird because I don't know anything about her except her name. But hey, she didn't try to kill us in our sleep, and I think we can trust her.Kirstie had gone home late last night after a long talk about Ella. How she's living in almost the worst part of LA. We talked and we agreed we want to help her out somehow. She's not talking much, but I don't blame her. She's probably scared and uncomfortable. I mean, she knows as much about us as we know about her.I snap out of my thoughts when I hear the Gatorade bottle open. I rub my arm, and go back to my room to get dressed and check my phone. I can hear Mitch talking to Ella quietly.I pull on some basketball shorts and a t-shirt, along with some socks and walk back out into the tv room.I seem to interrupt something as I walk in, because they stop talking and look at me."What?" I ask softly, not wanting to hurt Ella's head if she has a headache."Nothing." She answers quietly, her voice hoarse. "Mitch was just talking to me about GHJGJstaying with you guys or Kirstie..." She trails off at the end of her sentence, seeming to think.I shoot a glance at Mitch to see if she's telling the truth, and his expression confirms that she, in fact, had been talking to Mitch about moving in with us."Well, you are welcome if you need to." I answer, smiling at her. She smiles slightly back at me.It's a start.
Ella's POV:
The rest if the day consisted of naps and drinking Gatorade. I feel progressively better as the day goes on, and I begin to like Mitch and Scott more and more. They had me move across the room to an arm chair so they could use the couch to film a video for YouTube. Not that I watch YouTube. I don't have WiFi at the apartment, and I only have a flip phone. It's all I could afford.I laugh at them occasionally. They're one of the funniest pairs I've ever met. Then all of a sudden Scott bursted into singing and Mitch followed suit. And I remember why I find them familiar. They're from a band called Pentatonix. I remember them coming to the local children's hospital ages ago.My jaw drops open, and I rub my hands over my face. I wait patiently for them to be done filming.About an hour later, I bring it up."Are you guys singers?" I ask casually.Scott looks up from his phone at us, "Yeah, we are actually."I smile, "I knew it! I saw you guys preform at a children's hospital ages ago." Mitch seems to be thinking back, "Wow, that was a long time ago!""Yeah, it was! Small world, huh?" Scott says, standing up.I smile. Small world indeed.
A/N: HEY GUYS! Sorry for the really short sucky chapter, I have writers block :( tell me what you think and if I should continue this? Thanks, love you!
